  1. Same thing mate, Did you get a manual with the rifle as all will be explained in there.
  2. S410's have a MAX SAFE WORKING pressure of 190bar, ANYTHING over this and you run a serious risk of deforming or even worse, popping the air chamber and that will be a very expensive lesson quickly learnt. Also the internals are not made to withstand any higher pressures so you will also be causeing stresses that shouldn't be there. Trust me, by filling over 190 (better still 180) you gain nothing.
  3. Polish the hammer rail, that will help with consistancy and possibly even add a few shots.
  4. What a load of rubbish.... The reg can and would be set at whatever setting you asked for, providing its legal. The only downfall with a factory S410k .177 is the shot count and this would be improved by fitting a btas reg but its not the only answer... BTAS also do a TUNE (no reg) which is much cheaper and will also improve shot count. If you know one end of an allen key to another you could probally do this tune yourself and save even more money. If it's shot count and consistancy you are looking for you would be better off selling your S410 and putting the £250 Ben Taylor would have char
  5. If you can push the valve in with an allen key i'd be very surprised it had 190bar behind it.
  6. I was at the above mentioned meet with my AA TX200 (My rapid was broken) and i have to say i didn't feel i was at a disadvantage, after all i was still hitting the Magners can at 73 yards from a STANDING position...!! The only down fall with a springer is the fact you cant fit a bipod and they are single shot. If you find a good well serviced and loved springer it will last a lifetime with only the mimimum of attention. PCP's on the other hand are a differant kettle of fish. Dont get me wrong, i'm not saying PCP's are bad coz i shoot my Rapid alot more than the TX but when things go wrong th
  7. Andy.. I may have a AA S410 in .22 up for sale soon, PM me if you are interested.
  8. Again...... I seem to remember this happened last time the .22's lost dismally
  9. Andy that HW is a cracking gun and the way that bunny lept in the air from a standing shot...... well say no more.
  10. Andy and his HW90, come on Davy i didn't think you where that pi$$ed.
  11. I honestly believe a .22 didn't even had a single kill all weekend, but i know off at least 4 .177's and a .20
  12. I will be bringing my Mk2 Rapid .177 and AA TX200 .177
  13. Thats it.... I'm ready, been and done some burger shopping and plenty of alcohol for our hosts, even got myself a new sleeping bag.

  16. Davy, I'll be coming down thursday night if thats ok (maybe get in a bit of lamping...??) I'll give you a call a bit nearer the time.
  17. So when are ya gonna follow Charlies lead and see the light and trade that .22 in for a .177
  18. To be honest i dont know how much the service was because i had it serviced, re-blued, sling swivels fitted and a quality sling all included in the price of £113.
  19. Sounds like it has dropped off the reg. Fill the bottle to 230bar and you should get 170 ish shots before it drops off again.
