  1. hi there, a guy i shoot with got some recently i they worked great for us. that good in fact, i was planning getting some myself. hes a great crow shooter and has told me at this time of year the crows are all pairing up so when setting out the deeks place them in pairs together, with some singles scattered around. incoming crows see the singles and think there "available" and come for a closer look. game over for them. maybe worth a go?? regards Peter

  3. hi guys, there is now also additional controls for snaring in scotland they come under the 2010 snaring order. these state that snares must be fitted with "stops" which prevent the snare closing fully causing a choke I.E 13cm from the snare eyelet for rabbit snares and also where you can set snares I.E not where hanging entanglement or drowning can occur (fence lines or wet ditches for example) the order is bit moe extensive than this but these are the main points. scotland only mind. http://www.legislation.gov.uk/ssi/2010/8/contents/made cheers and regards Peeps

  9. hi i had not caught a rat for 5 months with 9 traps set perminent around three buildings. with the weather now turing we are starting to see them again. but only the odd one....... there does seem to be heaps of mice and smaller mamals this year. regards Peter
  10. Hi Bill, I couldn't see the teeth in the scope and it was only half-three quarters grown so I wondered if the pellet forced them out? Sounds a bit daft I know! hi, a rabbits teeth never stop growing. the rubbing action against the opposing teeth keep them short. sometimes they go wrong and come away from the opposing teeth then dont get the rubbing action and grow out. i have seen this a couple of times before and would think thats what this is. cheers Peeps good shooting by the way keep at them

  16. i shoot a marlin semi auto .22 cant remember of hand the model. its got few faults. my one hates subs but it was never made for subs it says so in the manual. it has a tube magazine fixed under the barrel that take 15 rounds but more than ten or so and the hollow heads flatten a bit. and there is not really an option to shorten the barrel. but those aside it gets thrown in and out the truck bounced about and only cleaned every 500 rounds or so and never misses a beat never loses zero is light and shoots better than me. It has accounted for 1000's bunnies over the years. paid £40 for it
