Hi all, Don't know if I'm allowed to say on here, but I have a mint, virtually unsued, N1000AP Illuminator and a Sony DCR-SR190 Handycam with Niteshot for sale on the well known auction site. ATB HoraceM22

Hmmm...... I've only ever had a couple at 140 - and that was on a nice day. As Clint said, "A man's got to know his limitations!" I am still trying to get a meeting with our friend Antoni to possibly buy one of his units. I suppose you lot have read all the good stuff on NV and DIY NV here: http://nightvisionforumuk.com Due to the cost, I fancy having a go at the DIY route, but my limited electronic knowlege scares me off, although I have the mechanical knowhow, having done a set-up with a Sony DCR-SR190 Handycam. -

I'm just about to go and meet this chap to possibly buy a set-up. He says that each is made to order, is this a shed job or a "small manufacturing operation"? Anything I should ask? Cheers all HoraceM -
Yes I believe so. I have been told that the second trigger acts as a safety device. Without touching it after cocking, the main trigger is really tough, but if you release the second trigger then the main one becomes much lighter. ATB H.

Happy to say that this fine gun has now been sold to a nice chap from Stafford - Thanks for looking This Anschutz model 1418ST .22 LR is the rare double trigger model as shown - hopefully! It has the full length Walnut stutzen stock and the Match 64 type action. Serial No. 1314910 It is also fitted with a moderator, not sure of the make. The gun is being sold as my friend is nearing , does not use the rifle now and will not be renewing his license! It has a Bushmaster scope which will come with the gun. Any Questions, drop me a line. This will be advertised on other sites. Gun is nea

As my friend's Eliminator has now been sold he only needs to sell this rare .22 rimfire. HoraceM

Pleased to say that this bargain has now been snapped up by nice guy from South Norfolk. Thanks from me and the seller for all of the interest shown. Now, there is still the matter of finding a new owner for his special rather rare double trigger .22 Anschutz rimfire, also on this site and others (£500). Cheers all HoraceM

GS Challenger Kit Questions - can you help?
HoraceM replied to HoraceM's topic in Night Vision & Thermal
Yes, I can see that as usual you get what you pay for, so it looks like it'll be the Pulsar kit but with the n1000ap..... booo hooo! I'm at the Shooting Show on Sunday - I don't suppose they'll be giving many away there as prizes? H. -
GS Challenger Kit Questions - can you help?

As I haven't done this before, I can only go on what I see in daylight, and that is that there are bunnies that would be within about 50-60 yards from some decent resting / hiding places (a disused caravan etc) so I think that would be about it for the Rapid, but obviously with the HMR the distances could be longer, but potentially more difficult with regard to accuracy and maintaining safe shooting etc. but either way no more than 100yards. Thanks for that, I think I may have worded my first note a bit better. What I am thinking of is to possibly get the Pulasr kit as an add-on to my dayscope and my question was meant to ask whether the Pulsar higher power lamp - 100mw illuminator - was as good as the NVScopes one, the n1000ap From other advice I've been given it seems the Pulsar on is an LED source and the N100 is an IR laser. Apparently these give a much stronger light source, but are more expensive, for the Pulsar NV monocular which fits to the eyepiece of the 'scope. Either of these illuminators fit to the NV kit. I'm thinking of getting an add-on that will fit my FAC Rapid and HMR, and all the chat about the Pulsar Challenger kit mostly says how good it is but everyone seems to say to get the n1000ap illuminator as well. The Pulsar lamp (part 805) is quoted as the same power (100mw), has a variable beam from spot to flood, and would work out cheaper, but never gets a mention. As a newby to this, am I missing something or what? Can anyone help. Cheers ATB HoraceM

What pressure is the cylinder if it's still for sale and would you split, how much and where are you, please? Cheers HoraceM

I need an RL7+ and therefore will need to sell my RL5+. Details here: http://www.brattonsound.co.uk/brattonsound.pdf JSR are selling these for £195 delivered. Mine is in mint condition, has its original divider, never raced or rallied, heater and radio (only joking on that bit!) I can't buy my new one until someone takes mine, so talk to me about taking it for £180 I could even deliver if it's not too far - say <30 miles from Daventry, Northants. Cheers HoraceM.

I have a .177 HW100K - it's accurate, a bit heavy for carrying around for me but with a Safari Sling it's OK. The only thing against me using it for hunting is that I have it set up for target at a club, so by the time I've focussed and zeroed the sidewheel in on a bunny they have all gone for their tea!! To that end I am getting an FAC airgun of some sort ( I already have a .17HMR rimfire). My couple of years with the HW100K is that it's quiet (the full length version is even quieter), accurate, quick to charge and with the 14 shot mags has lots going for it. The "K" gets less shots than a f

Evening all, First post, probably of not too many, who knows? I'm 60, Retired Rolls Royce Quality Engineer returned to airgunning a couple of years ago with a Weirhauch HW100K at Sywell Airgun Sports Club, (targets). A year later, when enquiring in a shop about an FAC airgun I was told of the pros & cons of such a gun as opposed to a rimfire. This led me to get a .17 HMR CZ Varmint, which I love. However I now really do want to get a secondhand FAC PCP airgun, hence my browsing through various shooting websites to try and get the best advice as to what might my best option. On oth
