Does anyone recommend pet insurance for your working Whippet/Lurcher ?
If so whats the best one to take out as some are not worth the paper their written on.
I guess working dogs tend to gain injuries more than your average pet so just curious as to what the majority are doing ?

oh do you add extras like a teaspoon of this and that, flaxseed oil, kelp powder, alfalfa powder, vitamin c and things ? as all the recipies ive found say to add extras such as these, oh and apple cider vinegar ?
thanks mate, i am trying it, i think i mixed too much veg with yesterdays meal as he ate all the raw meat but left loads a veg, just have to rethink the mix and add a little raw egg or something so its not so dry.
Looking to bring this into my pups diet, he a 7 month old whippet, whos diet at presnt is a complete biscuit (royal cannin/pro prina) mixed with raw mince (from pet shop).
Im hoping to introduce him to fereting anyday now.
Im curious as to what fruits and or veg is used in this diet ?
and is it mixed with the meat/ scraps as one meal ?
what are the diffent meats reccomended and how the dogs deal with the bones ?
is pasta and or rice used ?
if all this is mixed in one meal it would be one hell of a dinner and would take ages to eat, any help you can give is appreciated.
