  2. Trigene, now called "Anigene" is excellent. Bleach does kill Parvo. Id use both!

  10. The video is a demonstration of ignorance and bullying. If a "trainer" needs to do stuff like that, then he needs training himself.

  12. I dont like it. I loved the meeeoooooowww as the cars flew past, now they are like a bunch of hair-dryers going round. Lost the atmosphere for me, although I bet in the urban areas the neighbours will be happy!

  14. You will destroy the texture of the dogs coat if you clip it. He should have a wiry harsh top coat. Clipping just cuts the top coat and cuts into the soft under coat. It will in time grow back softer and thicker and completely non weatherproof.
  15. Hand stripping is not to keep him cooler or warmer, its completely dependant on when it needs to be done. A stripped coat in the summer offers no more protection than a heavy one and the dog is no more comfortable because of it. As the top coat grows it will become full and thick. Speaking from a Border's owners point of view, I would leave it till it "blows" or starts to part down the centre of his back. Then use finger and thumb to pull it all out. You can use chalk to get a better grip on the coat. You can also use a BLUNT stripping knife, but it must be blunt otherwise the coat will b
