  1. Using capital letters to try to put a point across is seen as shouting on the internet, you dont need to shout at me. Im pleased you have done a bit of reading, like myself in fact, I find many articles interesting to say the least. Can you prove to me that the muscles in the neck are not severed? See, the thing is several veterinary reports clearly say they are, you can find a couple if you search the net, one is on a PRO Bullfighting website. You can call me names too, doesnt bother me in the slightest, I am not "anti" Bullfighting, just anti cowardice and prolonged torture for pu
  2. As I said Chimp, I think its very necessary, have done it with 3 of my Borders in the past, but not for about 5yrs or so. I dont find anything particularly "pleasurable" about it, but it did satisfy me to know an animal causing problems was dealt with. Shooting, do it all the time, have done for over 20yrs. Rough shooting mainly. Again managing pest species. Fishing. Waste of time! Fish make me heave!! :D No problem at all with it though, used to go with my brother in law when I was much younger on holiday, in the river Glaslyn in North Wales, for Salmon. Fox hunting, the
  3. This is one such quote from a PRO Bullfighting website: Are they lying too?
  4. What been said is that, when the matador faces the bull, its fecked+lost blood, and thats how they do there bull fighting ok. all as been said if they faced the bull fresh, which they wouldnt, then you could say it was fair. Precisely, but people read what they want to read Bird........

  6. Why would you for one second think it upsets me? It doesnt in ANY sense of the word, I find Bullfighting a JOKE in EVERY sense of the word!
  7. No, I dont think digging to Foxes is "sport" I think its necessary to protect stock and wildlife in some cases. I think Fox HUNTING is sport. A very select few are kept as breeding stock (male) thousands of females are bred from each year to supply the demand. Now can you explain why my "severing of the neck muscles" is not correct? If you severed the neck muscles of the bull he would not be able to lift his head at all ,let alone lift a mounted picador wearing leg armour and throw him up in the air, look at the vid again, do you think a bull could thrus
  8. BUT THEY DO HAVE CHANCE FOR SURVIVAL!!!! If you're not willing to even take that on board then what's the point in debating any of it with you? What you are saying is no different than the anti's lying about what we do IMO. How many? 1 in 1000? please show me proof of the FACTS you claim exist.
  9. You lot are incredible, you support prolonged torture of an animal that has no chance of survival. There is NO sport in that, none at all what so ever, its a disgrace, tradition or not. Please explain why the tough guy can't face his "enemy" without it being exhausted and injured first! Some quotes from Bull Fighting sites: Now can you explain why my "severing of the neck muscles" is not correct?
  10. No, its not a daft question at all. He is a Bull Dido, you are anthropomorphising! he is incapable of "thinking" in the manner you describe. He is bred solely for public mutilation and killing, nothing more. Very very rare will a Bull live, in fact Id go as far as to say hardly ever. The stud Bulls would NEED to be able to lift their heads to mate, the ones that enter that ring have their muscles cut, severed, beyond repair, its the ONLY way a Matador can kill him without risking serious injury to himself, how else do you think he will be able to stab him at the base of his neck if
  11. Wow! Strange indeed but Im pleased for you. Im kind of siding with you that the Cat wasnt in fact as "ill" as first said. Id ask for ALL the history, blood results etc.. and say you are seeking a second opinion based on the fact your Cat has miraculously improved by itself!! See what they say.
  12. Sport? What sport? isnt sport a contest of equal parts, the best one winning? What a JOKE! Bull Fighting is a cowards day out, the Bull NEVER wins, cannot possibly ever. Even if he kills the matador the next "tough guy" comes and kills it! How great to watch a magnificent fighting Bull enter the arena, powerful and alert, then is systematically ran round and stabbed behind its shoulder up to 10 times on occasion to severe the muscles, so when the big tough Matador comes in he can prance around like a fairy for a while and then kill it!! Baring in mind the Bull hasnt been able to lift it
  13. Hey, I have no problem with a fair test, but its unfair and always the outcome the same. Lets see how their steel balls perform if the Bull wasnt exhausted and has had all its neck muscles severed so it cannot lift its head. Dont forget thats how the big tough matador kills it! I reckon there would be a lot more Bulls injuring Matadors than there are now, even if they kill the Matador they still must die themselves, fair????
  14. Oh no doubting it weakened slightly, but nowhere near as much as having the neck muscles severed to the point where the Bull can hardly lift its head. Then of course the big tough Matador does his "bit" My appreciation is for the Horse and its rider, the trust and bond between the two is incredible.
  15. No "sport" in bullfighting, been done to death on here, but there is skill and Horsemanship in this, I think its amazing! FABULOUS Horse! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HgG_Gwy7Ysg&feature=related
  16. Never, Never, Never, EVER .. And I re-peat EVER Tell A Woman She Can't Cook !!!
  17. Thanks, appreciated, you wnt be disappointed with the 7D JD, although Ive seen some stunning shots with the 50D. Still working on the movies, they eat up the card!!
  18. 'MuttleMcTuttle' Excellent, love to see some shots if you could, its a VERY smart piece of kit!!
  19. Thanking you. Thanks CH, 8 FPS it quotes, seems very capable. I agree full frame for landscapes, did you get the 5D mk11? The sharpness if spot on, the AF system is great, the tracking of moving subjects is superb, this was set to "medium" sensitivity for these shots.
  20. Thanks very much. Ive been asked to do several weddings, but I am really rubbish at photographing people. Being a very special day, id always go to somebody who specialises in it. if its your wedding... Congratulations!!
  21. Took possession of my new camera last week and took some shots of a dog Im boarding. The tracking of moving subjects on this camera is superb, and had to be turned down for these shots. Very impressed so far as I want it for dog and horse racing too.
