  1. Having a litter will absolutely NOT stop her having phantoms, thats totally untrue, it could well make her worse. The ONLY thing to stop phantoms is to have her spayed. If you dont intend breeding its the permanent solution, and the best one, and no, it wont make the slightest difference to her working, except you will be able to take her out whenever you choose!
  2. To the person that asked if Im Lisa, of course Im not! Im me! The same person I have always been, nothing to hide, never has been. Several off here have met me too, like Vixen, Brummy, Vimmy (I think he was on here) and Reload. Lisa doesnt need anyone to speak for her.
  3. You mean "Bonsai?" Yes he works, so does Percy. Oh and Percy is a SHOW Champion too, imagine that!!
  4. The Reds have actually improved in numbers in many parts, notably those parts where Greys are culled. The Pox virus will kill the Reds but not the Greys, they Greys are carriers and spreaders of the disease. All I can suggest is that every grey you see, you cull if possible.
  5. In use both, I have a Sigma 70-200mm F/2.8 and a Sigma 120-400mm OS HSM too. I also have a F/2.5 Canon and a 28-135mm IS Canon. Im pleased with all of them, it depends on your budget really. The 120-400mm Sigma came out on top of all lenses in that range. I did use the 100-400mm Canon and I liked it a lot, but didnt like the pull/push zoom.
  6. I keep a Belgian Hare loose in the garden, I dont want my Terriers chasing Rabbits so I keep him for that reason, to teach control.
  7. Great! You are very lucky to see them, Ive never even done that! Well, I did see one on the canal, took a shot, but when I zoomed in realised it was a cheese and onion crisp packet stuck on the fence!!!!! Wondered why it stayed there!
  8. A little boy goes to his father and asks 'Daddy, how was I born?' The father answers, 'Well, little man, I guess one day you will need to find out anyway! Your Mum and I first got together in a chat room on Yahoo. Then I set up a date via e-mail with your Mum and we met at a cyber-cafe. We sneaked into a secluded room, and googled each other. There your mother agreed to a download from my hard drive. As soon as I was ready to upload, we discovered that neither one of us had used a firewall, and since it was too late to hit the delete button, nine months later a little Pop-Up appe
  9. Whatever Dido, whatever, an opposing view obviously leaves you struggling. At what point did I say ALL Bulls are not killed in Portugal? You REALLY need to read before commenting, its reads bad. A Portuguese Bullfight does not normally have the Bull killed in the ring, its killed outside then butchered. Occasionally it will fall inside the ring, not often. A SPANISH Bullfight, adopting Portuguese "style" WILL often see the Bull killed in the ring, I dont think you know the difference, no offence intended, but its you that hasnt done the research, not me.
  10. The typical PORTUGUESE Bullfighting, the idea is not to kill the Bull in the ring at all, looking at that video, it states "typically Spanish" well yes, they killed it, that WOULD be typically Spanish, thats what they do. Removing picks, simple. The Bulls are corralled after a fight, just like a Bull in ANY form of handling, it would probably be shepherded into a "crush" or something, little it can do about having the picks removed then is there? Simple really. Re the neck muscles. There is a LOT of info on the net about it, some sites state after many months, the muscles will ha
  11. Yes, seems breaking the rules is commonplace in many areas......
  12. OOPS!! You need to do more research... and:
  13. Yep, he is a skilled Horseman, love it! Of course far more Bulls are NOT killed in this type of fighting, means more to me when an animal stands a "fighting chance. Thats where the sport comes in.
  14. Effectively unkillable, interesting descrption, I personally think thats where the "skill" comes into it. Courage, hahahaha!!!! If that my friend is "courageous" then dealing with dogs of all types on a daily basis, certainly constitutes bravery!!! The local dairy herd have more fight in them than a half dead beast, exhausted, bloodied and unable to lift his head. I think the video that started this thread, showing a Matador with a horn through his neck and protuding from his mouth, demonstrates that this last sentence is incorrect. I think it demonstra
  15. I never said that. However Im sure a few of the dogs I deal with could give most people a run for their money, they do me. The cowardice comes from within my friend, take me to the Bull, Ill kill him when he is weak and cant hold up his head, while he is bleeding from picks in his shoulders and neck, while he is foaming at his mouth, exhausted and running on empty. However, ill not face him when he comes in from the field, fresh and alert, oh no! This is why I like the Rejoneador, skill between the Horse and rider, patience and trust, see how much more "stamina" those Bulls have c
  16. Fantastic Horse!! :notworthy: There are many Lusitano types that do it, fabulous! Its more the Portuguese style of Bullfighting. I appreciate the work and training that has gone into it, so much trust, I honestly find to thrilling to watch. Id go see it in a heartbeat.

  20. A raging Bull, classic!! If another human being was being hurt by anything, human nature would tell us to step in.
