    No they are "wild"ish being confined to a 1000acre estate. I have been told they can attack dogs and small children hence the walk, stalk and keep a distance . No 308 just a 270mm

    A good start and you are doing the right thing in putting a picture up and asking for comments. They seem a nice bunch here. I respect the posters in this forum for their pictures, quality of work and honesty in their posts so you should get some good tips. I for one don’t feel qualified to advise, judge, criticize as I am still very much an armature but I do know the more shots I take the more I get into photography and the better I want to be.     I have two dogs both with dew claws. Both dogs have snapped them off at the quick, there is a bit of blood and it looks nasty but after a good clean I have either cut the rest off or taped them up for a week or so until grown back enough to trim. No lasting damage.

    Feed both mine raw chicken and rabbit as recommended by my vet who also has lurchers and they love it. It is great for cleaning their teeth and general health Your vet is wrong you should never give cooked bones to a dog as they splinter. Freeze the rabbit for a month first to kill off worms and parasites then give them to the dogs frozen or thawed Change your vet.

    I took the dogs, my 5 and 6 year old boys out for a walk this morning and managed to take these.

    I could have writen pretty much the same post 7 months ago about my dog. She had eaten two sofas, dispeared every chance she had, stressed me out on every walk, the wife would not walk her anymore, they gave up on us at training classes and she was so close to going. I re-read all the books I could on dog training and gave it one more go. To tackle the walk and recall behaviour was very much as you have done go back to basics which was hard a she would refuse most treats and toys. I ended up making liver cake, hot dog cake, black pudding that sort of thing kept changing them to keep h

    Don't know about plum spirits or wine but try this for plumb jam Get 4lb- 4.5lb plums in a big glass bowl and microwave them full power for 6 mins add 1lb to 1.5lb sugar and a couple of slices of lemon stir and microwave for 4 mins then take out the skins lemon and stones. stir and give 4 mins more Have ready 4 very clean jars and lids. Put a spoon full of water in each jar and stick them in the microwave for 3 mins (not lids)whilst plums cool take out jars and poor in jam and put on lids. Leave to cool then enjoy.

    Good choice mine is almost the same except I would swap the kit car for another one like this I really don't understand why anybody would chose a Range Rover Sport over a Landrover Dicovery 3/4 in HSE.

    It is the number of dogs available in general that’s worrying. I went to our vets last week and on their notice board there were 3 lurchers, 5 Springers, 5 Jack Russell, 3 Weinerama, 4 labs and 2 KC reg fancy small things I can’t remember the name of. It does seem there are just far too many irresponsible or greedy dog owners. There are too many trying to cash in on pups and as long as people buy them this will continue, then worst of all these new owners breed pups themselves for cash or cuteness.     I have been really good this year and got my step mothers present a couple of weeks ago. Admittedly I won it in a raffle but it is still a very nice teapot, it is also new and in a box. 50p for the ticket what a result.

    I am trying to get some more info on these dogs or crosses with them after a comment about my dog looking like he had some Ibizan looks in him on another post. I have looked them up on the net and they look handy dogs but a bit yappy. They also seem to be quite rare so wondered if anybody has one or managed to breed from one and if so what cross and what are they like. I have searched on here but there doesn’t seem too be much on them at all. Any pictures would be welcome.
