    I usually take my camera with me everywhere but for some reason a month or so ago I decided I could not be bothered, Half way round the dog walk I have a badger running across my path in broad daylight as well. Dogs went mad so doubt I would have got a shot even with a camera. I also swear blind I saw a big cat once just off the A3 north of Guildford, I have met other people who have mentioned it as well. That is a photo I want but will keep to myself.

    If is is a zoom the in out action works like a pump some are better sealed than others at holding it back. It should not affect the image quality like dust on a sensor so don't worry.

    Thanks for the likes and comments A Canon 1DMKiv, I got into photography from viewing this forum and sold up most of the guns to buy a cameras and this is the best I have ever had.

    Great pictures. I love these birds we have some near us so I took my mother on Sunday for her 74th birthday to see them.The look on her face was magical as she had never seen a wild one.
