I got this earlier this year the first and so far last spot. I bumped into a birdwatcher the week before who said he had seen one in the same spot and it was his first sighting in 70 year so I guess they are not common I guess Merlin female (Falco columbarius) by Martin Billard, on Flickr

Bloody hell, you do get some good shots, It must take some time. TC Thanks. I always have a camera with me. A hour or so on dog walks the odd lunch break. I also travel round a fair bit for work so pop into good spots for a quick visit if the sun is out.

Out early walking my dogs and had a real treat, I got a brief glimpse last week but my first Owl photo since 8th May and that was a SEO so very please to see a barn owl. It took its first catch and appeared a few minutes later so I assume its feeding chicks. Caught a second shortly after but did not appear again. I also saw this stunning cloud yesterday, blue sky and lots of fluffy white clouds then this appears. Through sunglasses it was just amazing and the photos probably don't do it justice. Sorry to bore you lot with my photos again but this time of year there is a lot going on and I like to fill my lunch break with taking photos. Yesterday's break was a bit longer than it should have been but everyone else from work was out playing golf so it seemed fair.
