the iams range of puppy food is good, if feeding meat i would feed it raw too... but i wouldnt have a pup carrying too much fat especially a running dog. the joints/tendons/ligaments are still developing and you may put too much strain on them by having the pup carrying too much weight.

I find that the sound of the smoker gets on my nerves sometimes - last year we used ferrets a bit and i enjoyed it more without the monotonous whine of the smoker in the background all the time. the dogs can scent better too. also, rats will bolt from one hole to another and see the dogs then will not bolt again. they will rather sit in the hole and put up with the smoke making the rat fall asleep and ultimately die in its hole if it is continuously pumped with smoke. a rat with a ferret on its tail is more inclined to bolt. smoke will not seek out rats - it finds the path of least resistance

theres a few around me in the northeast - a few years back i just used to see the one but now there are loads so it must have made its mark on the population

i have the misfortune to have to deal with them from time to time at work and they are an absolute bunch of morons - they couldnt organise a piss up in a brewery one of our lads was paying 97 quid a week and they said his ex missus only got £10 of it a week so where was the rest going? then when you ring up you get a patronising jobsworth on the phone who sounds like he has got a long net peg up his ar$e
