  1. Should always end up with the letter "D" when you multiply any number between 1 and 10 by 9 the results when added together will always come to 9 so taking 5 off will always get 4 = D
  2. i have found that they dont concentrate and just want to play with each other. i would just train 1 at a time

    chipper smith

it was in the CMW the week before wolsingham mate...
  4. where do ya think????? from hireamidget.com of course lol!!!
  5. good post there mate - nice stamp of terrier there too
  6. never mind the stanhope show mate, get a pic of your 'cock-of-the-north' winning dog up saw cock of the north class at wolsingham and it went down to two very nice stamp of terriers
  7. i have no experience of salukis or how the feathering is inherited but from what poacher is saying here it would appear the feathering gene is recessive to the smooth gene and backed up by what Riohog said. So based on that: A feathered saluki must have 2 genes for feathering (one from each parent) for it to show as feathered because if it only had 1 feathered gene and 1 smooth gene it would appear smooth coated as the smooth gene is the "stonger/dominant" gene. So when you mate to a greyhound (smooth) the smooth gene again takes over the feathered one but the pup would still have
  8. wash the dog down when you come back. Before you go, buy some hydrogen peroxide (dont get the super strength hair dye kind though. go for the diluted one!!!) from the chemist and when you get back from ratting with the dog put some in a syringe and squirt it on to any cuts. it will fizz and foam which will clean out the cuts. Once it has foamed give it a rub down with a damp towel to get rid of the dirt. Make sure its up to date with its jabs as well. Hope you enjoy it.
  9. All the best with the pup bud for this season
  10. have you seen plummers working cover? i have mate yeh,i aint saying theyre no good, but they cant live with brittanys,no doubt theres someones plummer out there thats better than someones brittany, but two dogs at the top of their game....no contest really cheers for the info mate - the reason i was asking if you had seen them is that i couldnt believe one medium dog could work the same amount of cover as two small dogs but i aint seen a brittany working cover. I would have thought they would get tangled up in dense cover but like i say i aint seen brittanys work so you can comment b
  11. Just my opinion but i think hitting them with the terriers will be far more entertaining than shooting them - i prefer dog work over guns when it is at all possible
  12. Good luck everyone - enjoy the sport
  13. spot on mate - for a dog to have to do a hard days graft on an empty stomach sounds daft to me too. A human athlete will spew his ring if he eats anything up to 2 hours before hand depending on type of exercise and the type of food (saw a lad throw a pot noodle up he scoffed half an hour before doing a round on the focus mitts) so a good feed the night before, nothing on the day until the work is done then he eats like a king. kickboxing.

i used to do a bit - trained at Spartan in sunderland under Mr Grieves. Some excellent talent has come from there, i would recommend that gym to anyone in the sunderland area. keep meaning to get back in to it but never get the time to be as dedicated as you need to be to be competitive
  15. i know someone who keeps them mate - send me a pm so i dont forget and i will get his contact details for you. He is from scotland and quite far up too if i remember correctly.
  16. didnt see it mate - forget the smoker in thick cover. let the dogs have a scent about once they mark get the buggers dug out

    Total piss take.

thats the basics of supply and demand for you folks - if there wasnt a demand it wouldnt command such a price
  18. some things transfer well from real life to a computer game - wars (call of duty) racing cars (need for speed) etc...but i cant see a hunting game being at all appealing - what is the point? you cant smell the environment you are in on a computer game, feel the weather, your hounds/gun whatever...waste of time if you ask me
  19. how long ago mate? i know a few lads who used to have permission on there - i'm going back about 9 or 10 years now though
  20. so basically the only similarity was that it was made out of fur and it went on his head?
  21. Keep it warm in a cardboard box will be fine - give it some corn if you can get any and some water. usually when they AMTRAK them (a transport method) they only go in a small box wide enough for them but narrow enough that they cant turn round. The ring number will allow the club to contact the owner and you can arrange for it to be collected. atb wulf
