    Yeah , I am embarrassed to say I was f***ing about on a quad that was far too much power for my skill level and came a cropper . It’s not an exaggeration to say that I could easily have been killed or had life changing injuries as I hit a ditch / barbed wire and a concrete bollard at about 40mph Idiot magnets, I should really know better

    On the album that came out , he did a very kitsch cover of a song that means a lot to me . I was also extremely pleased to hear it in my favourite tv show ever and it’s been on my iTunes since. when I was little there was an old fella who lived along the road from me who was the kindest man I’ve ever known. They played this song at his funeral and to this day i still smile at it and like to listen to it now and again to remember a man who fought across North Africa and came home to build a life and give the kids in his town an identity and the belief they could do whatever they wan
