You can’t belittle me As I’ve said before , my views , yours and @scotty12 aren’t a million miles away. I just see things differently to you two, not opposite. I find myself more and more in tune with @Goly as it’s likely we have a similar knowledge / skills / experience of the topics discussed here .

A hundred percent agreed . If we just turned away from Ukraine , then what ? poland , Latvia , all getting itchy feet about a slip to a western Russian border again , people have a right to decide their own country, not what face the coin lands on

Agreed but why can one country bordering and largely the same people join the eu and Ukraine can’t ? They aren’t the same country , they aren’t part of the eu anymore , it would be like Mexico telling California , nah you aren’t part of the us anymore , you now a buffer zone . it’s got f**k all to do with Russia what the Ukraine does

Yep eu members also but as I’ve said before here , the idea that’s promulgated that the Ukraine was a land grab by the eu is absolute horse shit , Russia bottled grabbing Estonia as they have a large sea port and a 6 lane highway going straight into st Petersburg. the reality was and remains that the big red 1 would roll down there as and when they please .
