It's not exactly getting me excited !lol! I thought Adams doubles might improve but he can't buy a double top ! 26% on doubles isn't champion form.

Watching the final right now, third set just finished. Adams scoring is almost up to PDC standards, but his doubles are atrocious ! But he's 2-1 up.

I chose the '92 final, not so much for the darts, even though they were great, but for the excitement; final leg of the final set ! Bristow v Deller was also a classic. I've seen some better non-televised games as far as scoring is concerned, and some of the best darts I've seen have been backstage in the practice room, but the big televised games, especially now that the crowds are encouraged to be boisterous, instead of "the best of order" take some beating for excitement.

I'd say the '92 final between Taylor and Gregory was the best ever, it's generally recognised as the best game ever at The Lakeside, and was thought by many to be the catalyst for the break up. Croft marketed the video of it and used small print in the players contracts to refuse to pay them royalties.

She had 50 left, a bull would have been a ten darter, she elected to go 18, d16, but the ten darter was on twice. Her opponent was not on a finish, so she played the percentages, probably rightly. As for the finishes, I remember Bristow saying ALLWAYS go for a 60 as that's what you practice all day on, so even if you've left 62, go 60, d1 ! That would be laughed at now, players go for what they are comfortable with. I remember busting 174; I hit the two 60s and went for a single 18, of course I hit the treble and bust. Just watched the ladies final, very impressed. The young lass that got beat had shots at ten darters in two legs, and hit around ten 180s. The winner, Ashton was red hot on her finishes, and evidently had an over 90 average in her semi final.

Have to say I enjoyed the ladies BDO darts I've seen the last couple of days. Some of them were averaging the same as the men. A vast improvement on what I saw in the past. As for the men, the only one to impress me up to now has been old Wolfie, he played well yesterday , hitting 11 and 12 dart legs and some decent finishing.

I don't want to put words in Wilfs mouth, but what I think he is saying, is we in the west base our laws, customs and traditions on Christian values. You don't have to believe in a god or the divinity of Christ to accept and live by Christian values. Even an atheist couldn't find much to complain about in the teachings attributed to Jesus.

I'd say six million Jews murdred certainly had its place in ww2, but Hitler used them to stoke up the flames of hatred, they had nothing to do with the CAUSES of either world war. He also murdered Catholics, gypsies, Slavs, retards, Freemasons, and many more. You even managed to link v rockets and doodlebugs to the Jews, when actually these were intended to strike terror into the British, when, after Hitler lost the Battle of Britain , he realised the Luftwaffe couldn't do it.

Many people far more qualified than me have tried to answer that question and can't, but for you to say the two world wars were because the Germans wanted to eradicate the Jews is simply factually wrong. You say I know nothing about Islam, maybe I don't know as much as you, but if you want to debate European history, 1750-1950, then I'm your man.

Yes, an extremely big and tragic by product. Hitler wanted to expand Germany and form a Greater Germany. He wanted to right the perceived wrongs of the Treaty of Versais, which had nothing to do with Jews.

I've said it on another thread; ww1 and ww2 were about German expansionism, not the Jews, even though they murdered six million of them. The term was " liebens raum", living room. Invading the Sudetenland and Poland had nothing to do with Jews, but was the precursor to the Second World War.

These attacks and hostage situations could be diversions, tying up the police and the security services while a big one is being planned. I hope not, but I'm sure the people in charge have ALLREADY thought of this and are planning accordingly.

Max, Israel shoots , what they call terrorists, on the spot, a shoot to kill policy. They also bulldoze terrorists houses, and the houses of their families. They are in a war where only one defeat means the end of their country. We, and by that I mean our politicians, don't believe we are in a war. We are being sucked in where we are told by the politicians and the media that it's under control........tell that to the relatives of the dead in France ! Believe me; its coming to a town near you ..and me, and everyone else in the UK, if we don't wake up !

Max, you say you gave up on these topics..........then go into a long winded reply.....on this topic ! LOL ! Believe it or not, but I agree with most of what you say, on politics; not football !LOL! If it WERNT for people like us, Gnash, Wilf, and others, like the various Joe's, Bracken, Truther, Ragumup, etc, this forum wouldn't be worth visiting !
