Why should they get a better pay rate ? The BASIC salary is £67000, PPS's, ministers, ministers of state, heads of select committees, etc, get far more ! It's not even the outrageous expenses that piss people off; it's trying to fiddle even MORE expenses that's the big problem !

Did we used to write pamphlets together in the late '80s ?? No, from the 70's to the 90's I was busy bringing up a family and trying to make ends meet. Since then, I've had a lot more time to think about things and take stock of life. Whatever happens now won't affect me, but will certainly affect my children and grandchildren.

She got a mortgage for her "second home", where here parents were living, (against the rules), and increased her mortgage at least twice. We, the public, payed the interest on her mortgage, while the money she raised in extra loans accrued interest in the bank for HER ! She sold the house at a profit of £1.2 MILLION; so, she had never actually paid anything for the house in the first place, her mortgage loans were interest free, (the interest being claimed in "expenses" paid for by the taxpayer). In a democracy, it's a God given right to vote for who you want; but when you vote for the status quo, it negates the right to complain when nothing changes. To bring about change, you must change the mindset of the establishment...... or change your vote. As long as we keep voting these people into power, they won't change. If we vote UKIP or for an independent candidate, we may put pressure on the establishment to start listening to us. Not voting isn't a choice, voting for a certain party simply because "my dad did" only perpetuates the status quo.

I have to admit to being a bit of a conspiricy theorist; but just look at the facts; one or two political nonentities are thrown to the wolves, for less than what Miller did, and they are sacked, disgraced, and in some instances sent to jail. These are the ones outside the "circle" ! Then look at the likes of Mandleson; sacked TWICE for corruption in office, but given a cushy job with the EU, along with it's perks and pensions, then given a peerage and brought back into government by Gordon Brown. IDS was going to make an announcement today about cracking down on benefit cheats; bigger fines and even confiscating their houses and property. He had to cancel it when it was pointed out that the sunday papers were full of condemnation of Ms Miller !! Pointing out that she had stole at least £45000 from the taxpayer, and had sold her taxpayer funded house for £1.2 million profit, and her punishment ??? Pay back just £4800 !!!!!! But then again; there are rules for them, and rules for the rest of us !

I had two £20 bets on the National, both lost, but have a £200 banker on Man U to beat Newcastle at evens..... Man U are 3 nil up with about five minutes to go, so not a bad day, overall !!

I know a woman who was overpaid £1200 on her disability benefit, she was interviewed, under caution, and given two choices; pay the money back, with interest and a £300 penalty; or go to court and be charged with benefit fraud and possibly get a custodial sentence, and a criminal record !! Miller stole £45000 of us, the taxpayers, and was told to repay £5800 and say sorry !! This is why I hate ALL politicians, yes some aren't corrupt, but they side with and turn a blind eye to those that are corrupt. If there is ever a revolution in this country, I'll be in the vanguard !!!

She is also the minister in charge of implementing the Leverson Inquiry into press freedom..... and today, the Telegraph has released a recording of Millers SpAd threatening the reporter and the Telegraph if they did not back off from looking into her expenses fiddles !!! This is far from over !

I'm sorry Malt, I should have also included the Gaelic languages, which include Welsh, but are also Indo-European in origin. Isn't it fascinating that two languages such as English and Gaelic could diverge millenia ago, but still survive on such a small island. ?

Can we say English is a language from the Germanic branch of the indo-European family of languages? Yes, I suppose we could say homo sapien came from a single cell organism, we can take it back as far as science will allow. As far as European language , there are basically two; the Anglo Saxon; German, English, Scandanavian etc; and the Romance languages; Spanish, French, Italian etc. There are, of course, other languages such as the Fininish/Hungarian
