What about your top ten finish prediction ? I could go back through the threads and find it, but it would be pointless, you live in some sort of dream world where only you are ever right.
-
Don't start making things up Max ! I've never made any predictions, I simply laugh at your nonsense. You are the one who normally starts these threads with ridiculous predictions that never come true, another season, another messiah, and doubtless another disappointment!
-
I've told you many times, I don't have a team. I just find it hilarious how you are consumed by a team that's in a different city and a different league. As for championship, I guess Sunderland will be joining them next season.
-
Ref is biased, both goals def offside. FACT !! Just thought I'd save Max the bother of typing ! LOL ! Could be a good second half.
-
I don't get it ? Hasn't he been turned down for the job many times before ? What's different about him now ?
-
Max, were you one of the knuckle dragging morons who booed an England player when he came on as a sub, and at every touch he had, at the SOL last night, just because he happens to play for a team 12 miles up the road ? When a player pulls on an Englabd shirt, he deserves the support of every England supporter, no matter what team he plays for.

Wasn't it ten games Benitez was in charge ? Won 3, drew 3, lost 4 .... Not like you to get your facts wrong Max !! LOL !!
-
It's a shame it has taken relegation for Ashley to see sense ! Looks like Benitez has demanded, and got, full control of running the club. Maybe relegation was a blessing in disguise now that Newcastle have got a world class manager.

Max will probably claim Lowrys mother was born in Hendon ! LOL !
-
Max dreams of mystical days of long ago; "hairy arsed pit men"...... When did the last pit in Sunderland close ? Probably before Max was born ! He talks of Sunderland being a great club.......when did they last win anything ? 1973 ! Again, probably before Max was born ! Bless him, he sees everything as a Lowry painting; men in cloth caps, walking in the snow to or from the mill or pit or to Roker Park ! He needs to leave the computer and the Internet alone for a while and get out into the real world !
-
Max, my knowledge of the game is extremely limited, but it's gained by experience, not Google. Every time you finish a sentence with "FACT" simply goes to prove you have little or no real experience of football, and all your "knowledge" is gained from the Internet . The Internet and Wikipedia aren't always 100% correct.

Max, EVERY team has corporate season tickets; I should know, I've been to St. James AND SOL plenty times using them ! LOL !
-
Only 6 points ? Make it 30 , immediately, give those northern monkeys a chance to stay up ! LOL !
-
I'm not really an avid football fan, but I thought at the beginning of the season "here we go again" and the season would be dominated by the "big four", the two Manchesters, Chelsea and Arsenal. Nice to see Leicester doing well, and I've nothing against Chelsea, but it just shows a Russian billionaire can't buy the league every year !

Why do we feel obliged to tip some people, like posties, bin men, waiters ? What about the lass on the till at Aldi's She will get paid a lot less than a postie or bin man, but does a thankless job, usualy with a smile. How about the lad or lass doing the mind numbing job in your local petrol station ? There are many jobs that get paid less than a postie but we would never think of giving them a tip even though they give great service.

Surely a "Derby" is between two teams from the same city ? So Man U v Liverpool, Madrid v Barcalona, and Necastle v Sunderland aren't derbies.
-
Two of Max's favourite teams, (well, he's obsessed by them), play each other on Monday. Wonder which one he wants to win ?
-
oh fo gods sake dont be letting Max claim Bill aswell , he was born in Scotland , A village called Glenbuck I think ,you might be getting mixed up with Bob Paisley ,he was a son of the NE . My tongue was firmly in my cheek, mate.

Wasn't Shankly born in a little mining village in the east Durham coalfields ?

Ireland Whippet Racing Back On At Shanes Game Fair 27/28 June
Brigzy replied to AlbertJ's topic in Gamefairs, Meet Up's and Events
Why is it so difficult to organise a whippet race ? The WRCA have been doing it for many years ! Simply have the owners show their registration cards before entering. No registration; no race. -
Fastest marching regiment in Britain at one time.
-
So why say Sunderland have the worst points tally ? Not like you to do SAFC down. Thing is, your "facts" are very rarely, if ever, REAL facts, just what you assume to be facts. Just like when you said Sunderland hadn't won anything in years, forgetting, or not knowing, the famous FA Cup victory of 73 ! Stop doing the club down, your supposed to be their top man ! LOL ,

Max, I don't support Newcastle or any team. For you to say another teams supporters walks out doesn't prove your argument that Sunderlands supporters are as great as you say they are. You are now changing your tune, you cannot say your supporters are great, after what's happened lately. In fact in the last few weeks they have shown to be extremely fickle; walking out of one game, extreme euphoria the next, and walking out again the following week ! Decent, (not great), supporters stand by their team through thick and thin ! It's time you realised they are not "different gravy", they are just t

Sky minute by minute updates; After the third goal went in : "The boos ring out around the ground" After the fourth goal went in: (62nd minute): " The ground is emptying" At the final whistle: " The few remaining fans boo Advocaat and his players" Some Different Gravy supporters, eh ?
