  1. i too have these boots and managed to get spare laces from our local country store (mole valley farmers) Try paracord of ebay should last a while burn the ends to stop fraying could also cover ends with shrink tube to finish off.
  2. Orijen is the only food I would consider this site might help. Raw is the only way for me though. http://www.dogfoodanalysis.com/dog_food_reviews/
  3. I have had trouble from fly strike to the dogs ears and fleas used advacate in the past but I am not happy with applying strong chemicals directly to the dogs so I have been giving them a single clove of garlic chopped up daily and hung a Vapona fly cartridge above there beds had no trouble and it is 4 month since I applied the advacate. Will see if I can go all summer without an attack.
  4. Sounds like it is genetic to me. Teatree oil is very toxic to dogs, read on another forum of a woman applying neat teatree oil to a cut the dog was dead in 10 minutes so beware.
  5. In my opinion pasta is not good for dogs. Will bulk the food up but then they miss out. Will not do them any harm either. What carbs do wild dogs wolves etc get. Stick to raw meat and bones and a little veg.
  6. First thing I would do is worm him with Milbemax then again about 3 weeks later with Drontal. I did this and a bundle of worms came out after the second treatment only. Then built him up on the raw with plenty of lamb and tripe. With some necks and veggies.
  7. You could always try the spray collars a lot more dog friendly and just water or citrenella. The better ones are quite expensive though.
  8. Tried most of the oils but I think the best thing to give your dog to get a great coat is a Raw diet and eggs twice a week raw and boiled both offer different proteins.
  9. Just got some minced Pheasant yet it has small amounts of shot in it. Is the shot still made from lead or is it some substitute like in the lead shot for fishing. Seams harder than lead to me. Only has a very small amout but the meat is quality do you think it is safe to give to the dogs. Cheers.
