Just out of curiosity was the dam the whippet or pointer reason i ask is that a mate bred some springer x whippets for bushing dogs the springer was the dam and the pup hes kept is very racy and if you saw it you would never guess for one minute it was out of a springer spaniel. dam was the pointer,looks nothing like my pup.

Smiles 40 asked me to put this pic of his dog up I like that dog i got slated when i put a pic on here when he was six month,i was told he would only be good for bushing lol he is but he does lots more besides, only 10 month next season he will be tested so i wont really know till then.zola 1 i am just up the road so you maybe know where i got my pup.

first Cross Bedlington Whippet

The Sire was a Whippet the Bedlington the Dam. i had a dog bred the other way,dam/whippet sire/beddy fantastic dog,took hundreds of rabbit and rat and lots of other stuff he never backed down on anything, ever. first x 21 tts he did give the odd yap now and again but not very often,quite headstrong,i will get another one day. -

if its your first shotgun,get a cheap single i had one for years it teaches you to make that shot count and not just blast off multiple shots at everything,i think its safer to start with as well plus it will be cheaper for you in 12g just my opinion hope it helps.

would not hesitate to have a first x beddy/whippet mine took everything i am sure he thought he was a bull cross lol just make sure you start it off slowly or theres a good chance it will open up
