    selling a deben ferret locator and two collars. 110 pounds including delivery. reason for selling is that unfortunatly im not ferreting next season, so selling off kit.

    yea , its had a run on a few foxes but neva caught them , it knows what its doing now and did have a clan kill on the cub last week. mates away for a month now so dog wont be out, lucky for the foxes lol. i think what you are saying old skool is wise, i am passing on all this info to me mate, he probs wont run foxes till end of summer ,probs wont do many rabits till then either. september is when hell start.

    my mates not out all the time, hes on and off, mainly in the winter but , he is just going out a bit regualry now, to keep the dog fit and let it have a bit of fun, keep it sharp. he mainly does the rabbits.

    good man urself. mate just wants to get the dog started on them and get its fitness up and get the dog used to them and gain bit more experience. theres so many of them around at the minuit, and its good to try and get a few before the game is put down. my mates not just a summer time hunter does it all year round.

    my mates dog is not second calss its an awsome bitch. its just getting started on foxes, that cub was its first and it was great for the dog.

    thanks all, we will give what you are saying a go, we are doing the majority of it, i think the fields are being don by some one else though so thats why they are shy.

    no roskezy we just went out for the craic, there lots of cubs about so we thought it would be good training for me mates bitch to get a bita experience on them. only thing is last nite there didnt seem to be any cubs, they all seemed experienced and were all spread out.

    i know a bit about working them and im goin to go with a friend who does it , hell show me the ropes only thing is we cant go out cause of the time of year.

    aye well it wasnt the darkest night we were standing behind bails, they were all shy and we lamped over good few miles. i think im goin to buy a call and ill get a filter for me mate. many thanks.

    may try that, we wernt using a filter never hav. we were both using our hands, they seemed interested as they were moving about round us, the field was huge. i dont think thers anything wrong with our calling , its quite good actually. we got a cub the other nite , it came [bANNED TEXT] in on us bout 10 metres, quickist kill ive ever seen. i dont think they were cubs as they seemed rele smart, moving about ect. but i could be wrong.

    was out last night with mate and lurcher and we saw about 6 foxes in fields, 3 in the same field at the same time. we squeeked for ages , but none would come in, theywere rele lamp shy. i was just wondering if anyone knows any otherway to get them in or what will improve the situation? thanks.
