    Ffs. Shows are there to pass the summer months on a bit more quickly and are /or should not be taken too seriously. Sadly some people dont see it that way and get off on whinging about women and kids accompnying there other half to what should be a family day out. I recently took my wife to a show and she met some mates of mine. She has never laughed so much in her life as she did that day. Thats what it should be about. Having a laugh and meeting new faces.     Toggies for me mate. Had mine for 3 seasons. Neopryne lined and full side zip up. Comfy as fcuk and cost me about £60 at the time. They should do another 2 or 3 seasons i reckon.

    If your dogs blood sugar goes low whilst working then its time to pack it in for the day/night. Whatever you give it will only boost the energy levels for a very short time. You try it mate. Graft until you cant stand up then have a mars bar. Give it 5 minutes then try to do the same graft again. the boost should be able to get your dog home where it can be treated and fed and watered the correct Electrolite solutions. atb stabba

    Ideally my advice would be to take the dog to the best orthapedic vetinary surgeon in the country. But failing that id have a word with his vet and come to some arrangment. Failing that id beg,steal and borrow to make sure my dog got the best treatment it needed. The RSPCA are a law unto themselves and have no sympathy towards working dog injuries. Thankfully the lad is now sorted so has no need to go to the unscrupolous charity. I find it very hard to swallow that a person of your intelligence and animosity toward the RSPCA should then proceed to tell the lad to seek their help, knowing full

    Skint or not. A vets first priority should the animals welfare. If the leg is as bad as you say then the vet should treat it straight away. Take it to a vet and let them treat it. Only after treatment should you tell them about your financial situation. By this time its too late and they will be forced to accept weekly/monthly terms. atb stabba
