    Now then moving abroad so selling me air rifle. it's an air arms S400 carbine in very good condition! comes with Scope (think it's a Nikko Gameking but i'll check tonight!) it has an illuminated crosshair!!! also comes with lamp and battery i'll try add images when i get home tonight £250 for the lot feel free to PM me for details

    AH! that explains a few things! i just bought a new scope as each time i set the scope after a days shooting it'd be out, i'd reconfigure it then pump up the rifle & it'd be out again...........thought it was cos of a cheap scope!!! Cheers

    now then this has probably been covered before..........but........... What is the best pellet to use for a .177 air rifle?? at the minute i use field target trophy but was out yesterday got 2 squirrels & a pheasent but the pellet on all occasions hit & went straight through the animals. It didn't kill them instantly & they seemed to be flopping about in pain............the pheasent stopped once i cracked its neck (i hit it right behind the eye) Which pellet will spread on impact? i only shoot rabbits, pigeon etc i was looking at http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Bisley-Pest-

    now then cheers for the help, went out last night around the site.............got myself a tracer mini lamp, even with the filter it goes far.................anyway as i was watching last night seems some of the rabbits will run with the lamp and some will stay put,problem i had was with the ones staying put my stalking were scaring them off, guess i need to improve on that first. I was also thinking about taking the targets to plink outdoors, to adjust my shooting with wind etc, seen as though i only do it indoors at the minute. Cheers lads ps yeah using an aa S400

    now then it's a .22, never checked the power but supposed to be 12lb.......................according to box!!!! it's got me rabbits & pigeons so i was happy with it have the original box hope it help Elliott

    now then Selling me Remington genesis, £ Good condition with scope & mounts, adjustable cheek pad. scope is a mildot 3-9x40 it's had about a tin & half of pellets through it Can't add pics as computers peeing about but can text one Comes with a tin of field target pellets gun looks like the one int pic.     now then cheers for info the site i have permission for is on a golf course, walked it loads of times and have a good few ideas where the most 'traffic' is, was wanting to know the best techniques for spotting animals, would a red filter be advisable?? hope you get what i mean! Elliott

    Now then after a bit of advice really, never done lamping before & am aiming to go out a couple of nights a week to have a bash. BUT whats the best way to start?? should i walk round the site all night or do i find a dry position and wait??? or do i do both?? which is the most effective?? I was gonna leave it to trial and error but thought i'd ask! Cheers Elliott

I don't fancy a massive lamp on top of the gun, i only tend to shoot on the golf courses by me occasionally venturing in to the surrounds. Cheers for the help
