Lovely looking pups, can't wait to see how these turn out. Should make cracking rough cover foxing dogs, plenty of nose and drive I'd imagine. Keep us updated, all the best for the future, Finn.

(This is a long one so get the kettle on!!) Hi Neal, as with a lot of things in life, for every answer there's a question. I have to say that I was under the impression that Mr Henson had imported a semen straw and bred the litter that produced the sire to our dogs. However, this may not be the case. Looking at the dates involved it seems perfectly reasonable to assume that he may have obtained a pup from one of the early AI litters bred in Scotland. As I mentioned I googled Mr Henson and found the contact details to his farm so really it's just a case of e-mailing and waiting for

Neal, just googled Cottonwood Matt, nice looking dog. Any further info would be of interest. All info's good info !! Found a contact to Mr Hensons farm so just got to pluck up the courage to get in touch and try to get some details about the dogs history without coming across all weird!!! All the best, Finn.

Cheers Poacher 3161. How old do you think a good dog can go on producing good pups. I would like to use a dog such as Bigland boy oover my kelpie cross but it would have to be when the times right and that may not be all that soon due to one thing or another. Finn.

Howdy all, I've got some kelpie blooded stuff bred down from a dog that Adam Henson bred. I was told by the bloke who bred my dogs that he imported a seamen straw from Australia, the resulting pups, the sire to our dogs would be about 11 now I think. I've lost touch with this chap and can't find out any further info on the blood that's in em. What I'm wondering is, does anybody know how I would go about maybe getting in touch with Mr Henson and obtaining more info on our dogs. Never really done any research of this nature before and don't really have a clue where to start. Any idea

How old is Bigland boy Poacher 3161 ?? Cheers, Finn.

Can't guarantee any easy bunnies Vin but after all your efforts I'd have thought you'd have plenty of offers of a night out. If you're ever in Cornwall then drop me a line. Sports a bit thin on the ground at the mo but you're always welcome. Come on lads the bloke's earned a flash, if you get a spare night give him a run !! Atb, Finn.

If that fella ever plucked up the courage to get down off his bunk bed then he should have been very proud of his pack !! Just wondering what happened to his little brother in the bunk below, I have my suspicions !!! Great thread this, keep up the good work all. Finn.

Any recent developments on the Ultimate lamp front ?? Any lads using the Tiablo A9 kits and if so how do they fare ?? Christmas is coming and I may just treat myself !! Cheers, Finn.

Possibly the best thread on here !!! Funny as fcuk !!! Looking forwards to getting my copy even more now !!!

Having viewed collie/grey's photos, I was wondering if 'badgersboys' would like to add a further comment ?? Clearly a font of knowledge on all things canine. Stunning dog, would love to see how a well bred litter would turn out. Have admired these dogs for a long time. Best of luck in your future plans, the dogs a credit to you. Finn.

Finn. replied to Chickens4ever05's topic in Lurchers & Running Dogs
Another bloody brilliant post (saw the second trip post first). Could read these all day long. Keep em coming. Atb, Finn. -
Superb post, cracking dogs. Wish I could take photos like those, I do have some great close up shots of my finger tip and 1 or 2 gooduns of the inside of my pocket, anyone interested !?! Hats off fellas, Finn.

Thought I'd try and restart this thread as I reckon it's a goodun. Any updates on the dogs involved ??? All the best, Finn.

If this is the same bitch that I've seen running then she's a little cracker, she's also the spit of my Beddylurcher X kelpie, for a robust, hard working, smart lurcher I'd say they're hard to beat. Pace is the only down side but only just, plenty of stuff that's found it's way into the bag probably wouldn't agree!!! All the best, Finn.

Cheers buddy top effort. God knows where I was going wrong. Has anybody used this lamp and if so what did they think ?? Hats off again to 'Vin' put in a rake of research n effort for no personal gain. Oh and Vin, stop basking and get to work on a better cheaper locater collar !! Finn.
-
Top man, many thanks. God knows what I was doing wrong!! Everything probably ! Has anybody been using these lamps and if so what do they think ?? Cheers boys, Finn.
-
Lurcherlad, was that question aimed at me !!! I do hope not !!

Can anybody point me in the direction of Vins Ultimate lamp thread please? Not very good with computers, tried to do a search on it but came up with nothing, probably did something wrong T'was a bloody good read and some good research done by the man but I'm buggered if I can find it. Many thanks, Finn.

Charming that is, beauty is as beauty does, commenting on my left nut when you've never even seen it. I'll have you know that he's been involved in some pretty hairy digs in his time!! Fair question though, the Mrs aint even that keen on him these days! Take it easy boss, Finn.
-
If I was in the market for a big dog I'd give my left nut for 1 just like him. Before I get hassle, there's nothing wrong with my right nut I just think that a dog like that deserves the best. Keep us updated on his progress, Atb, Finn

Google Boardogs.com, superb pig hunting site from down under, masses of photos of ausie pig dogs doing what they do best, sections on the various breeds as well including Bullarabs. Have to say that them Bullarabs are outstanding looking dogs. Never seen any work mind, never even been to oz !! Finn.

Neal, all I know of the lurchers parents is that the bitch is a beddy saturated lurcher that an old boy local to them had bred. He's had the strain for years and did a fair bit with them. She was about 23tts fairly solid but racy with it, she was lightly merle marked which makes me think there is a touch of collie in her but other than that she looks a typical beddy type. The people who bred my dogs didn't work her but they have a mixed farm and she used to go off hunting on her own and was fairly handy by all accounts. The sire is a pure kelpie who was bred by Adam Henson off Countryf

Happy days, cracking looking pack there, pity the rabbits round your neck of the woods !! Finn.

Thanks for the comments chaps. The dogs aren't without their faults by any stretch but in fairness I think that's more down to me than them, can't take any credit for Sonny, he's me muckas hound, not done a huge amount but given the chance and once he's got his head round the job he's been mustard. Main thing is that whatever it is you ask them to do, they do it all balls out. I'm delighted with them and the more challenges you give them the happier they seem to be. They thrive off graft. There's a few things we want to test them on yet before we can say for certain what sort of stamp
