  1. Thanks for answering my post. And it had to involve brian plummer. Gave a Myxi rabbit to a ferret tonight that will only eat meat and will not eat dry food. As for plummer nothing surprises me his kennels were a disgrace and they seem to be better run after his death.
  2. The local copper lives less than half a mile from the field in question, The Scottish Electricity board are frightend of him cause he threatend them with a gun, he cut down a timber electricity pole on his land, heard a roumer that he threatend kids with a gun for being on his land, one SSEB worker was going to have a go with him and he reported him and he nearly lost his job. Other roumer was that he shot homing pidgeons for flying over his air space. Think he had a roll in the river with a fisherman for walking on his land next to the river. So i wont give him the chance, I will keep t
  3. Think i will keep them on the lead, its not worth the risk, they got 8 acres of their own to play with. Ive cooled down now thanks for the prompt reply's. He's also complaining about other issues but they get filed in the bin. He is not getting his way, so hes off to the lawyer's he wont speak to me as he knows my views on it. I wont give him an excuse.
  4. I had to take a cat to the vet it went missing for a week and came back limping and cut paw. Phoned the local vet and as it was a bank holiday it would of cost me £50 quid just to see the cat. Next day i went to another vet and he charge £12 quid for the constaltation and the anti inflamatories and antibiotics. If they didnt work come back and see him. The cat was fine. Needles to say i dont go to that vet any more unless i have to. Take the Border Collies to the dog agility, threw the ball in the air and she jumped 2 feet in the air and mised it, got bollocked for if they land inco
  5. Got a slight problem with a farmer, Have access to our field, to gain access to this field i have to walk drive through a padlocked gate which i have access to, then down a dirt track road to our field. the field is ours and i have a legal right to have access to our field through his land. We have had alot of probs with this individual and he is the village fruitcake, as so have others. On entering his field i have my dogs free, he has a stretch of woodland close to the road i use and the dogs chase the odd rabbit but as they are Border Collies its more fun and if they caught one the

  8. Keep your hair on he's a beutifull Sandy. O.K you should of put that picture in a caption competition. You have to look on the funny side of it, some Trolls never give up. :11: :11: :11:
  9. Think i saw that site a week a go and as it was 2 young lads i didnt say anything. The Dog, the fox, and the tie did raise an eyebrow. The site is closed so thats the end of that.
  10. A couple of years a go someone bought a Polecat hybrid kit at scone. She was named WHIZZ as she moved fast. When you tried to pick her up, she turned and bit, repeatedly 3 times to the bone then locked her jaws. Tried ferreting with her but she was a buggar to catch when out of the hole, Kept slipping her locator didnt make any difference how tight tou fastend it to her. At this point she was renamed FANG. Had her ferreting one summers day and she came out of the hole and chased my partner up and down the field in her bare feet, i nearly pissed my self laughing. One day i used her on
  11. Been for a walk these past 3 days and each day i came upon a rabbit with Myxi. 10 years ago i would of felt sorry for it, but now i just do the business. Read some past posts about feeding carcass to ferrets, Some say it does no harm its only deadly to rabbits. Others say cut off the head and others dont. Some say they eat them but they cant be serious they gotta be taking the piss. Knew a guy at work who went fishing and his neighbour asked for some fish. This went on for a while and he got nothing back in return. So he skinned some Myxi rabbits and gave them to him to eat.
  12. Hi mate im new here too, pleased to meet you. :welcomeani:

  15. You make me jealous. Great pictures and great fish.
  16. Sounds like an Old Bob that knows everything and feeds them on Bread and Milk. Our ferrets get washed a couple of times a year to go to ferret shows and the entire Hobbs stink a bit, they love a swim in the bath but dont appreciate being blow dried. If you want to clip a ferrets toes bribe the buggar by putting ferretone on its tummy while its licking it off do its claws. Ferrets are 100% carnivore rabbit gives them everything they need and keeps their teeth clean.
  17. Nice gun Wickidweasel. Ive been told to post more and get my self noticed.
  18. Hi all my name is Davey by the way. Saw this site mentioned on another site and joined, i am well impressed. Lost me thumb in a work accident in january this year. They wanted to replace it with one of my toes, i could of sucked my own toe but i would of fell on my arse. I have pleanty of time on my hands and am bored titless. Was a member of the Scottish Ferret Club, have 8 ferrets at the moment and heard today that we will be getting another, they are pets as they go to Scottish Ferret Shows and i havent hunted for ages. Partner was up at Scone last week so you may of seen her shes a
  19. Well Gash it wasnt me, Think i remember him when he came back to the stand he got quite a fright. Him and his partner frequently walk their ferrets on leads at ferret events. The 1st time i went to Scone thats the 1st thing i was told watch out for terriers, one nip and they are gone. Have fun its usually a scorcher.
