Cross my heart Gnash!!! It's like a foreign language yet we're only up the road :D Lonning seems to be anywhere near "The Wall" but on the sunny side of it form what i cna make out. Us kids used to call is a snicket where as my grandparents and parents called it a ginnel so in one generation it had changed names and I've no idea why, a bit like the togger thing. A jitty is a new one on me. Where does that come from? East Midlands. According to wikipedia it's a Derbyshire/Leicestershire term. I was raised around Linc's/Nott's/Leic's. Colloquialisms have always fascinated me. I think it started when you're a kid and met other kids on holiday from all over the place. They'd ask if you wanted to play a game which you'd never heard of but when they explained the rules it was a game you had a different name for (and even some more rules but the principle of the game remained). For some reason we ended up calling football "togger" when I was gro

They say there's nowt queerer than folk but I beg to differ when you listen to the names some folk give stuff and it's generally the same thing as what has a totally different name elsewhere. With regards to getting your bonce around stuff such as infinity then don't worry so much as the universe one day will collapse (apparently done it a few times) so there will be nothing. Now when I say nothing it's not like an empty box or something, it's literally nothing, no time, no light, nothing. No space, no dust, no gravity, no heat, no energy - nowt, zilch!! Was that not screaming reels . Paul young does hooked on fishing unless they have got someone new doing it yep your right it was paul young, little Scottish fella wasn't he? Thats him . He did another more recent one called fishing road trip usa aswell i think Can almost smell the booze when his programs come on. You can tell when he's had a dry few hours as he struggles to hold stuff still for the camera.
