A beautiful moment.

What happened 5 years ago, did you sell the boot? They broke, the ball fell off of them and it got picked up by someone else but when I went to get it back they chucked themselves on the deck and rolled around in excrutiating agony. I wouldn't have minded but I was barely near them and just thought "this isn't much of a game" then walked away.

Isn't the Premier League all about money and not a great deal about football? It is the worst thing that could have happened to English football by a country mile. Things started sliding downhill when the government stuck it's nose in and they discarded the three foreign players rule and opened the gates for full teams to be made up of a mixture of nationalities. The only reason they did this was to attract the big names so they could sell the rights to the games around the globe. I don't know how you can say the teams do not go out to "win at all costs" because the players will try and ge

It wasn't embraced, it was recognised after being proven by scientific facts, unlike a story from a book that if anyone else wrote they'd be locked up for being a fecking loony... It was embraced. Proven by scientific facts? You'd have to name a few, I'm not aware of any. It's a theory, that's been so well publicised and promoted by media and propaganda that the large majority of society has accepted as a fact and scientific, it simply isn't. Facts cannot be denied and science is observational and operational. I'm well learned on the subject amigo and always willing to share my thoughts with

Who sold off our national industry to foreign investors for a quick fix cash injection knowing the jobs would be disolved leaving thousands of her fellow countrymen out of work and after shutting down the unions unable to have a say about any of it. Aye, a real Patriot, would hate her to be on the other side of things.

Why not just up the security and have a dog that they can enjoy for being a dog and trust around folk that come to visit such as any grandchildren etc? Why risk an accident to either people or an animal for the sake of it when a bit of thinking and forward planning can provide a better solution? Sorry to hear about the dogs being stolen, some right idiots about. I think the police offer a free security evaluation of your property, I was offered one when I got broken into.

oh ok i see where communication is breaking down now ..............You are talking about stealing off normal regular 9 to 5 people. Im talking about " me and you " meaning 2 people in the same boat in a battle over anything, food was 1 extreme i guess money would be the other...............no,stealing off decent hardworking people is wrong and can never be condoned. What kind of stealing could you condone? Absolutely none, stealing is against the law and i dont condone breaking laws.......................im not one of these " its ok to steal from the big companies " or " vat fraud is ok ".

Like i said, its an admireable trait..............but " working hard " is a trait thats more rare than people care to admit......i havent got it i know that much !..... I say again most of us are products of our enviornment......same as you dont see many Cambridge graduates come out of shitty inner city council estates you dont see many lifelong criminals come out of rural Oxfordshire............i take my hat off to folk like you and yours who work for nice things........but i also take my hat off to folk who take a chance in life to get nice things and are not willing to just sit by and accep

I can't, I enjoy learning new things and if I gain an educational qualification that makes me more desirable to employers from my books then so be it. Woah!! Where did that Islamic blind sided sucker punch come from? That would be more turf war commentary than gangster discussion. You do have the choice, that choice is there for you every day but instead, as you have stated, you choose to work to provide for your family, I tip my hat to you. Also the fact you are on a forum that is about hunting suggests that you have the means to provide for your family anyway, I know i haven't bought

That is what the wellfare state is for, isn't it wonderful? If life goes tits up you have the services in place to have clean drinking water on request by law and in virtually every building in the UK without risk of disease or having to walk mile after mile to find it, a network of schemes to fidn your fmaily accomodation to get you out of the wind and rain, a bit of assistance when you get older with your pension (and now a legal requirement to be offered a private pension which your employer HAS to contribute to if they fit the criteria, money for nowt), food donations from crisis support c

Can't really add to this. Ask the vet for advice on what to do in future if this happens and in other situations where punture wounds are concerned, a decent vet will tell you what to do, a money hungry one will tell you that under every circumstance to come see them. Glad to hear the dog is back to normal in all other aspects, hope the dog makes a good recovery, and also the vet . Keep us posted on what happens.

If i didnt have the brains or natural talents it took to earn it.............yes id take it without giving my moral compass a second thought..............or yours. Righto Gnasher, so out of curiosity, does that apply to the first or second line of the words of wisdom you give on your signature? We can all try to come across as angelic figures mate.....i dont bullshit my way through life if im starving hungry and you have food i may not have the qualities you have......but i,ll do whatever it takes to make sure my belly will be just as full as yours is................ignorant or stupid i do

So you'd just take it where as I'd try and earn it? Moral compass intact.

A very entertaining read indeed. I got told as a lad: "There will always be someone bigger, tougher, harder and willing to go further than you no matter who you are" so I got stuck into earning a living by exchanging my knowledge, time and academic abilities for sterling rather than taking from others through pathetic means. How anyone can say they admire someone for making something of themselves by being in a poverty stricken area and taking things off of others who are in the same boat or any other boat is beyond my comprehension and so far off of my moral compass it's not even in t

Established Middle Class. I had Harringtpon fill the blasted thing out for me whilst I was savouring a nice swan pate on saffron wafers. Jolly nice indeed.

The Future, Where Do We Stand As Trappers?
hutch6 replied to snakey's topic in Snaring, Trapping & Pest Control
The main benefits to a trapper or the most valid points to get across is that chemical solutions are either indescriminate or the traget species build up a resistance?tolerance as MTR has mentioned. Gas isn't a direct form of execution it can be carried all over and be inhaled by anything within the vicinity. Something only has to take an interest in a solid bait poison and it's ill or dies. Myxi and VHD were never tested just slung out and fingers were crossed, luckily it doesn't touch anything esle but there were no formal tests on livestock, domestic animals, other wild species or h -
Hi, The signals that you use are your own personal choice, you could go down the route of the commonly used ones or you could choose your own if you are working your dog and don't want it crossing onto soemone else's commands. With a pup there are two ways of teaching the commands. You can lure the pup and reward appropriately when the correct bheaviour is offered or you can do waht is called "shaping" - you wait for the behaviour to occur naturally and then reward appropriately. Either works just as well as the other. The benefit of hand signals over voice commands is there is no

Advice On Stopping Dog Fouling On The Raised Bed

What happened M&B? -
Geof, You still making the fox whistles mate? Tried a Pro-Fox caller and they aren't very effective to be honest, sound more like Sooty and Sweep having a barny than anything else. I tried making one out of a tin I got my sardines from for my lunch. Wasn't too bothered about it not working but it left an aftertaste I would guess was akin to a hookers clunge after a very busy week without a wash whilst the decorators went to town.

So then Moxy, Have you managed to get back up on them there 'ills and fetch the rest fo your stuff? Did you put any down that day? It must be grand up there now on these clear days.

I will always remember falling asleep in the lounge on the sofa with one of my arms behind my head ("draw me like one of your french girls - style) and I must have remianed in that position for quite sometime. Anyway, I came to and woke up very quickly when i couldn't feel my arms at all, thought I lost the bloody thing in my sleep. I reached above my head with my good arm and was immediately repulsed to be touching cold flesh that was my arm. I sat bolt upright in horror at the feeling and was even more repulsed when my other arm fell against me like some slab of dead meat flapping about.

I ordered this last month. Good product so far and after a bit of adjustment it only needs a slight knock to rip those spring in the right direction. I ordered 20 more last week so hopefully they should be here in the next few days.

Lamp. Firearm. Fox. In that order. Are you on about shooting at range or shotgun distance? Over what ground? Lampwise any spotlight is decent as long as the battery lasts the period you're out for or you have a spare. I use a red filter as I flit between bunnies and foxes but it is not always required. I use the spotlight off my rifle which is a Tracer LEDray 1000 but it is far too bright on full beam, put that on without a filter and folk at the other side of the valley start getting up to go to work
