teachering a lurcher to chase....new to all of this

id go for a bull cross mate,take anything from rabbits upwards,with a bull cross in your kennels you can go out day or night and take the full spectrum of quary if its there for you.

My experience is that any dog that isnt socialised properly can be aggressive but 9/10 times a bull cross that is socialised properly will be fine with other dogs and i dont think this is significantly different to any other breed. I think the main thing is that people notice an aggressive streak in a bull x more. I do it myself! For example if im at a game fair with my dogs and im stood next to someone else who has say a whippet. If that whippet growls at one of mine then i rein mine in out of biting distance BUT if it were a bullx and it growled at mine i would move away completely and stand
