-
of course they won't come back!! They will be dead. Haha

Chances are not only do they NOT have permission they do NOT have a ticket , anyone who has a section 1 cert knows how hard they are too get & how easy they are to loose .They would be mad to risk shooting of the road , I been stalking & shooting 40 years & I don't know one person that thick !!! Sorry but if someone is up for poaching deer they wont bother getting a certificate before the event .. i have to disagree! i know boys with tickets that poach stupid as it is but it happens!! i am not moaning about poachers just if you shoot something that big dont just cut its

I work a lot on a shoot in devon i will not mention the name. its a great place and is hunted on, over and around a lot stalking lamping shooting fishing ferreting the lot. Was in the beating line yesterday and we where driving out a cover crop when we stumbled over a big red stag he was a good mature animal. This next bit makes me f***ing sick. He had been shot and the poor excuse of a poacher had only cut his head off!!! Left the rest to rot! Now i would be lying if i said i hadn't been out walking with the dogs some places i shouldn't of. But i tell you one thing if i do ever catch or kill

to be honest roe deer are easy pickings for a good deer dog! course may go on for a little while but if the dogs been slipped -90 % dead!!

mud I am out 3 4 times a week and I put the miles in. I don't think it has anything to do with the shooting digging or trapping as that has happened on most the land I hunt on for years. this year has just been a bad year for them. there cubs either didn't happen or died. I recon its got something to do with all the rain and lack of bunnies last year. its not the snow its the rain that knocks f**k out them. end of last season was picking up foxes that where just bloody bonny. seeing a few around now but leaving them quite unless on the shoots. hopefully better breeding seson this year. there a

snatchbullet replied to lurcher666phil's topic in Working Dogs & Livestock
well said!! if i had a £1 for every time blocks on here have shut people down cause people arent driving the length of britian to pick up a lurcher. i have done but its cause i had the time and the money to do the trip! if you havent got anything positive to say.... do every one a favour and leave it out...its boring and it ruins this site. all the best snatch -
i use collars. it may have a very small chance of increasing injury but comes in so handy.just slip a rope around its neck. i would love too see you do that some times when needing to restrain a dog and its all kicking off. each to there own. might not use one if was out only for rabbits but need to hold on sometimes ; )

Been out a lot and seen next to no foxes. Plenty else about just very low fox numbers. Based in somerset. Any one else seeing lower numbers? Snatch

Rabbits a bit low foxes every where shot 6 last night and 2 just in field by house tonight coming in to stink pit. To be honest think this weather has knocked them about a bit as all skinny fuckers.. I recon with rabbit numbers and weather maybe foxes won't have such success cubbing this year. Will have to wait and see.

Respect For The Quary You Hunt
snatchbullet replied to oldred58's topic in Earthdogs & Working Terriers
i am saying that with rabbits being low in some areas the foxes are eating other more vulnerable species. so maybe think twice before you realise them so you can hunt it again for your own pleasure!!!! is that what you call respecting stuff??.... do you ferret and realise your rabbits? do you catch squirrels in a trap then set them free???? how about the trusty rat you catch them and release them back into the country side? or do you use your terrier to scare f**k out of them dig down into the there home then let them go?????only my opinion....but if the fox dont need getting rid of leave it b -
