My mate a big lad too, dont know how I'm gonna get em both on there...... I'll give him a call over the next day or so....
  3. Fred Carter is my mates uncle....He aint a bad shot..... Give me a call Pete and I'll see if we can arrange a meet up with him for a few stories for you.../
  4. Spot on...... Its unlikely that the bitch will ever stop yapping to be honest. The dog you may have more sucsess with but he'll probably never put his heart and soul into it. Like AA says you really need to treat them as though they were pups and start again. Just highlights the need to resist starting a dog until it is ready mentally which is usually later than most people think. All the best with them mate.
  5. I've thrown it away....I know not to uspet a beddy again..!!!

  6. Dont just look at the size of a particular breed, consider the characteristics too. Some bigger dogs are a lot calmer and appear to take up less space as long as they get their daily walks. A terrier is only small compared to a greyhound but will just seem to be all over the house wheras the greyhound will be content on a blanket in a quiet corner. Dont automatically look to the smaller whippet crosses if you want to work it as I dont think they will offer any real advantage over the greyhound crosses. Yep, I know, loads of people have whippet crosses and they are superdogs. Stick
  7. A bit of work through long tufty grass and heavy, muddy ground really helps. Makes them push off hard when they run and builds them well. And plenty of stamina building walks.
  8. Good strong daytime winter hares. 100 yards law.... test speed, stamina agility. Whatever anyone may say, it takes a good dog to take three out of three...
  9. Hmmmmm...you aint having a good time mate..... stay calm, let plod do what they can first, probably nothing to be honest as they are as much use as a chocolate teapot. If no joy give me a bell
  10. He's a bit too young to be charging around on the light. Big dogs need a bit more time. And add to that Deerhounds are the whimps of the lurcher world, they dont like any sort of pain. I'd rest him and get him out when he's a bit older.
  11. Its nice to see someone taking the time to put something like this together. Makes things clear for anyone who buys a pup from you at any time. How old are Diago and Gypsy. Its strangs how the collie has come out over the beddy when there is less of it in there. Although I was chatting to someone the other night who knows someone with one of your pups and was told its great.
  12. Oh trust me spider is dumb most the time . . . . . . . . . . . . . Gay and proud! Kylos balls have just started to drop and my god he is p1ssing me off, he is being such a little git, pushing boundries, ignoring commands and stressing me out, i have just seperated from my partner so i'm not sure if he is picking up on my stress but i really hope he levels out cos he is a bloody nightmare! Would he be between about 7 and 9 months by any chance. Thats about the age they satart to play up for a while. And Beddies are the worse, they are renowned for it. Dont reac
  13. OK....So what one was the bad photo then....???? Lovely little dog too.
  14. Signed.... they are not actually allowed to take your dogs unless accompanied by a police officer and then only with good cause. He would have to of been arrested and charged with an offence too. The best thing is to politely ask them to leave, they are on your property and are trespassing. If they wont leave you are within the law to eject them using reasonable force. A tip, if they come and you send them packing, move your dogs to somewhere else for a week or two. The idiots have a habit of coming back and breaking in.
  15. here comes the BAN THEM MODS THEY ARE NOT WHO THEY SEEM ,because we cant cope . you shouldnt be banned for pretending to be someone else, after all you're pretending to know about dogs. You should be banned for being an obnoxious abusive neandathal (thats a prehistoric freak to an uneducated halfwit like you).
  16. has anyone else noticed the text style is uncanily like that of the banned members mytimenightime and smoogle. grits pup also looks just like ooty's breeze as a pup...... could this be coincedence....
  17. respect ,leave alone and dont cheek your elders ,what i was taught . i see what you mean ,you must kill every thing you shoot quickly ,and never injured or maimed any thing leaving it to die a pain full slow death {respect for your quarry } Right jessy i had no problem with you originally....you did nothing on the other posts but stir to get a reaction but it made you happy but now your just annoying me.....but as for the first quote of yours about respect...I too was taught as a child to respect my elders..dont back chat and learn from them but i was also taught by my nan to
  18. I'll just hang on for some pics and will give you a call if thats ok.
  19. Nice dog mate.....good price, but again wrong time for me....I'm gutted!!! All the best with the sale....
  20. a bit of grooming going on eh makes you wonder! it does make you wonder, why a newbie wants to take people out lamping ??? puppies not very origional is it!! If I remember I think the opening gambit was along the lines of 'how much should I pay for a dog and has anyone got one' Seems that these two have put their heads together and not quite managed to make a halfwit....
  21. it will come with age ,dont bother rushing things You must be f*cking old then pal yes and wise to the big wide world ,and full of knowledge .and as fit as a fiddlers elbow.unlike some young pups. Your typing finger must be fit, 106 posts in 9 days..do you ever leave the house to go hunting. I've never heard such twaddle in all my life
  22. He's too young. Should be fast enough, just sounds like he isnt really trying.
  23. It really depends on the dog mate but I would say he may be a tad young to do anything too serious. I used to start mine at around 18 months old. If you do give him a run, make it an easy one and if he doesn't do well keep him off for a bit longer. Too many unsuccessful runs can break them.
  24. I still like the bitch....I sorted out transport but I dont have the time. I have a pup of 18 weeks that I'm putting a lot of effort into. I didn't think she needed that much attention and right now I cant do her justice....
  25. Brings back memories of a few years ago......
