an intelligent response...what from a gypo cmon swampy your'e asking a bit much mate I'm quite happy to give folk the benefit of the doubt and I am forever optimistic that intelligence exists in all of us. I understand your scepticism (and find it mildly amusing) but surely not all gypsies are so bigotted that they can't see reason? A professional cynic whose hearts not in it ning Swampy

I was hoping for some intelligent responses. I have obviously forgotten how ithis site works. goldfinch, rather than trade jibes and resorting to name calling please address the poits I raised in an intelligent manner. perhaps then folk would take you more seriously. As for calling fcuk a "grass" can you not see how that would stick in some folks craw. He would only be grassing if i twere true otherwise it would just be gossip. Please enlighten us. Fek me ! I suspect that your comments are aimed at provoking a response that would cause animosity between our great nation and the west of England you call Wales. As I understand it Martin Johnson has apologised for not including Shane Williams in the "midget throwing team" on the grounds that the other midgets sais he had an unfair advantage by being smaller than them! That should be an end to it! It is also not true that England will be parqding the world cup through the streets of Swamsea on their return.................It'll be Cardiff and its only so that you guys can finally get

Have just read a topic about travellers and their slaves. Now,personaqlly I think there is a bit more to this story that will come out later. It certainly has nothing to do with the government trying to curry favour with the public and the Dale Farm evictions. I ama surprisedd that this topic has not been addressed on here. Are folk afraid to express their views? Or are the mods trying to avoid conflict btwn members and are censoring comment. I guess I'll find out soon. My view on the Dale farm evictions. 1. How can they be traverllers when they've been sat there for 10 yrs? 2. Why have

Afternoon HK. I have had my vizsla now for two years and is a house pet as well as a working dog. I would add that the pet has probably more significance in his life than the working aspect as I mostly only rough shoot and beat with him. In the house he is an absolute pleasure although he can be a bit bothersome when he isn't the centre of attention. He loves human company and will sit with his head on my knee for ages. If I'm not careful he will sneak out of the kitchen and upstairs onto the bed early in the morning when I'm off for work which really annoys the missus as he snuggles very

I think the point that Magdon is trying to make is that there are some folk who seem to think that by wearing this stuff they can be classified as "The hunting fraternity". It is not about snobbery or class, (which, by the way is always usedd as an argument by those who have none......remember an inverted snob is far worse!)but about the stereotypes who wear it. In general Magdon is right. Its a fact. A mere observation however won't change anything though and others will always think the same of those stereotypes. It is not just restricted to game fairs. Go to any rock festival. (Glastonbury

Nice one swampy . sorry mate I meant to say Sparrowhawk! Its a habit of calling them Spars for short... Cracking picture all the same! I shot a pigeon a few months ago which fell down a small pit at the bottom of the woods, by the time I got over there a Sparrowhawk was on it. just shows how many are about these days mullering everything within their size limits. I like Hawks but have to say I'm sick of the spars hammering the bird feeders in the garden. its a viciouse circle! we put the food out for the small birds in the winter and the Sparrowhawks use it as a restaurant . Some months a go there was a thread/argument about whether a buzzard could lift a rabbit. I even posted a pic my son took showing it happening. However some very intelligent and knowledgable person told me it wasn't possible. I was there he wasn't so I guess he won that argument! Anyway, today on the way home I had to stop the car to avoid hiiting a Red kite that had just taken off from the road. It was carrying in one talon a partridge. The partridge was still flapping. The kite and partridge went over my roof with about a foot of air between us it was that close. Anyway it dropped the p
