    Knives

Kye, I have found the Mini-Bushman for £25 and have ordered one. The Recon Scout and Trailmaster Knives look the business but they are £200-300! As for only a fool buying one, I don't agree with that but am not about to buy one myself. Here's the link Cold Steel Mini Bushman The British Knife Collector's Guilds site is a good site for knives but some of the prices are ridiculous!

    Knives

Cold Steel are really expensive! I have never seen one for £15 or anything like! Any chance you can give me a link of where they can be bought for that price? Cheers, Snelly.
  5. Totally agree with most of what has been said on this topic. I was on a fox drive last winter and we put up a fox next to a copsed pond. As he broke across the field, one of the guns put two barrels into him at about 25 yards. Charlie jumped when hit but continued to run at almost full tilt to the safety of the next wood. The gun couldn't believe it and was geuinely amazed that he hadn't rolled him over as he was sure he had hit him. I asked him what # shot he was using and he said 6's and 7's - what a fu**ing muppet. I gave him a couple of #1's and the odd disdainful commen
  6. This is an interesting topic for me as I am keen on getting a whippet as my next dog. I often have heard of the "hardblood" whippets - can anyone expand on this term? I guess it's just a lable atached to proven workers???? It's a shame Phil Lloyd doesn't post on here - he is knowledgeable on working whippets I believe...
  7. It looks as though Carol has taken the news pretty well considering!? :11: :11:
  8. I prefer Logun Penetrators and use them with a Theoben Evolution. Snelly.
  9. I too have lost a little of my previous faith in the CA. I am more in tune with the approach of the boys at fighttheban.com and would recommend everyone to look at their site. They have wristbands too - everyone should have one in my view! Cheers. Snelly
  10. Anyone know where I can buy some without being forced to pay the vet's inflated prices? Cheers, Snelly.
  11. My view is this; No sports gear. Football shirts are for playing football in. I saw a bloke at Wimbledon in a Man U shirt last week - shocking eh? No Trainers - I don't care how much they cost, they are for playing sport in! No topless blokes - no I don't want to see a fat red lobster swaggering about the place swilling lager and giving out menacing stares! So what should you wear? Mustard coloured jeans, polished brogues, a nice sports jacket or blazer, tailored shirt and an Old School tie - cravats are optional, as are Panama hats.... You know it makes sense! :11

  13. I think those new Discos look superb and am planning on getting one for my next company car when the Hi-Lux lease is up. Only problem is the price but that doesn't really matter when the company are paying eh?
  14. Toyota Hi-Lux VX 280 Double Cab with a Truckman on it. It's perfect. Just needs some better tyres. Snelly.
