The Big Lebowski Blade Runner This is Spinal Tap

I am selling an Italian made folding 410 single barrelled shotgun. The makers name is V T Gardone - a company more synonymous with pistol shooting but they also do shotguns. This has a scroll engraved actionand is in perfect working order. It features a manual safety catch and folds completely in half when not in use. It has a few scratches here and there but is otherwise in good condition. Pictures of the gun are shown below.... The reason for sale is simply that I do not use it and want the space in my cabinet. I have an AYA No 4, side by side, 12 bore shotgun for sale. This is cast for a left hander and the gun is in excellent condition. It is in perfect working order and the only reason for sale is that I need some space in my cabinet for other things. I think it cost me about £650 three years ago. I want £400 ONO for it. Cheers, Snelly

A cuppa is fine but my semi naked beloved would just make the poor chap jealous! Offer him a line of coke when he arrives to get him nice and relaxed and tell him that once you have got your ticket you will be happy to help 'disapear' any local scrotes he or his colleagues may be having problems with, that ought to do it! A fantastic suggestion but I packed in class A's when I reached thirty a few years ago. Special occasions only from now one. Thanks for the excellent idea though.

Hi, I have got the Firearms Officer visiting on Monday to approve my storage arrangements and collect copies of permisssion letters relative to my FAC application which is in process. Does anyone have any tips for me? Questions he might ask? Pitfalls to be aware of? Things to avoid saying? I am aware that most of this will be common sense but want to make sure this goes according to plan so any assistance is most welcome. Cheers, Snelly

Thanks. -
Hi, My FAC Application is in and is looking good according to the firearms officer. I know what rifle I am going to go for - it is a custom made Ruger 10/22 from South Yorshire Shooting (see below) - but am a little uncertain on what I need for a scope to go with it. My budget is under £150 and my shooting is nearly always rabbits, lamped at night and typically from a vehicle up to a range of 120 yards max. Any suggestions on good scopes to go for? In addition, are there any specific things to bear in mind when buying a scope for a rimfire rather than an air rifl

That video looks staged to me. They chap hardly makes a genuine attempt to nick the bag and looks like he is anticipating the smack. Sorry lads but I think the whole thing is staged to get a lot of hits on the web!

I have got a Hi-Lux VX D4D double cab with all the trimmings and it is great. Best car I have ever had. Contrary to what some others have said, I find it to be good on juice and quite economical for the size of it. I have got to order a new company car next year and it will be another one for me. They do a model now called the Invincible named after the fact that Top Gear tried to kill one and couldn't! I think they are great and I test drove all the competition. Nissan was tiny, Ford was shite, Mitsi was okay but I wasn't prepared to drive around in something with Warrior or Animal wr

A fantastic book by a great bloke. A must read for all countrymen and hunters.....

I hear Frain is a very talented artist also..... . <{POST_SNAPBACK}> I see my thoughts have been vindicated by the very brief review afforded Mr Frains latest offering (via this weeks Shooting Times), that being, "Rabbiting with Dog, Gun, Hawk, Ferret, Hound, Lawnmower, Strimmer, Smoker, Toaster et al". And I quote; "It's a little utilitarian" and "a bit text book" and it's "replete with poorly focused black and white photographs" . I rest my case. Buy it at your peril! <{POST_SNAPBACK}> I bought it as I saw it cheap on Amazon but after readin

Lots heading south now.......I've seen three very large (1000+) groups of swallows and house martins in the past week heading out to sea over the south coast...

There are still quite a few in Sussex. In fact, a house near me has a second brood still being fed in the nest under their eaves. I was thinking only yesterday that it was about time they all headed south. Snelly

Very sorry to hear you have lost a dog and that the experience at the vet's was traumatic. I have only had to have one dog PTS in the last few years - a terrier that at 15, was becoming a senile, unhappy and crotchety lady. I took the decision to do the right thing by her and when the time came around, I was in the fortunate position that I could take her up to the local foxhound kennels (a place she had good memories of) where one of my best mates who she knew well took her for a last walk around the grounds. After around ten minutes, as she stopped to smell the flowers, she was "s

is it not the england and WALES cricket board? :friends: <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Of course, but don't forget Scotland as they have produced some excellent cricketers for the team too - Douglas Jardine for example. Apologies if the post offended - not many people say the England, Wales and Scotland cricket team. We could also add South Africa and Oz for Pietersen and G Jones if we were being pedantic I suppose..... Simon Jones was awesome this summer. Perhaps Wales should have their own test side?

What a fantastic performance and great sporting achievement! Great stuff! Not only am I utterly delighted to see the win, I also stuck £50 on England to win the series after the first test defeat and got odds of 9-1! I will be celebrating tonight and drinking to the health of our cricket team. Well done boys! ...... and did those feet, in ancient times, walk upon England's mountains green... etc etc

Nice site - love those dodgem cars, oops silly me, they are JRT's! :11:

A quick question - if you could live anywhere in the UK, where would it be? Money no object - just what area do you think is the best all round for hunting, fishing, shooting etc? Reason I ask is that I just put my house on the market and am looking for somewhere new. I love Sussex but the prices are astronomic... Dorset, Wiltshire, Devon and Cornwall are appealling to me and I am thinking of looking there... Cheers, Snelly.

There is a lot of myxy on my ground here in Sussex. Probably something like 1 in 5 conies at the moment. Quite a few have made a recovery, not that it did them much good in the long run though! :11:
