am trying to thin down the sharp edge mate have got an edge on it but a dont think its thin enough to keep sharp it needs to be 22 degree's angle on each side,you can make a jig to get it spot on or use grinder nd do it by eye,now ive done my first pic i will show you my other knive am making out of a file,,, sound mate it looks nice mate cnt wait to see more atb

hi lads hears some blades a made today out of some old files .but i carnt seem to get the blade thin enough to put a better edge on them has any 1 got any tips on how to or as any one used a file for a blade [bANNED TEXT] cheers

looks well mate the blade is anice shape hear a few of mine

a no mate mine ar getting beter but need to polish the blades better any tips i use a buffer on drill you can make them,using cross ply,nd old clothes,or buffer pads for dremmel,,or even use a sharpening stone the old slate type,,pic's will come soon,i hope cheers mate maybe u can sho me how its done sometime
