    Well done mate , glad you're back . Will have some hunting posts now. As to the shot reaction I have seen it a couple of times .Once shot a roe in Scotland with .22/250 , no reaction to the shot and it ran up hill and stopped when I shot it a second time , both shots perfect. Another time I shot a big buck with the .243 and it just stood there with blood squirting out of the exit , so shot it a second time to end it quick , again both shots good. If you shoot enough strange things happen , sometimes they dont know they are dead.

    Out on the pigeons again today but nothing about , think they have got the message after last weeks sessions ? Only shot 13 birds , the fields are all flattened with this incessant rain , dont know how much will get harvested.

    Anyone had tennis elbow and how long did it last. I have had it now for around 6 months and really getting pissed off with it now as cant lift anything without pain. Just had to struggle skinning and butchering a roe , really pissing me off. Dr said its self limiting and should be ok in a year ffs

    Stopped raining so popped out for the last hour before dark. Spied a buck out feeding as I approached a gap in the hedge , up on sticks and an easy shot at around 60 yards dropped him on the spot. A lovely mature buck which I hadn't seen before ?

    My mate had a call from a landowner stating all the hens had been killed by a fox. So we popped over tonight and 1 cub was sorted ?
