wait till end of september early october you can come out with us we ferret for the hawks thats when ill be out next if you dont have a finder dont go out this time of year a good chance youll lose them Mick, wouldnt mind gegging in on this if you dont mind. hsve ferts and stuff but never hunted to hawk......... what do you think ? dont mind you coming when the birds finish moult were you from mate Allerton

The guy is offering to gift them to a youngster, at 22 do you really consider yourself a youngster?? these are meant for a young guy/girl, who is perhaps starting out. You'll never do it without SOME hassle (the phrase pecking order comes to mind) but the one that works for us is as follows Put some vinegar in water (1:10 should do) and apply to the backs of ALL birds Introduce new birds straight into the coop when dark This should minimise problems

My FEO says all you have to do is ring in advance of shooting and if the land is cleared for your calibre and you have permission, then no problem. So no technically not open but.......... not a lot of effort really is it.

doesnt this just mean that the land has to have been checked as suitable for whatever calibre (s) are on your ticket. I have this wording on my ticket and my FEO says its open......
