Hi folks I thought I would say hello, I have been away for a while due to ill health and the weather affecting my injuries, so much that the gun has not seen day light for months.. I also have to let you all know I am no longer in the "Noodle Arm Club" AKA AA S410 owner... I have ... you guessed it got a brand new HW100K .177 I picked it up today and will be back shooting in no time.. I hope you all had a good Christmas, and have a very productive new year..I look forward to browsing the forum again and seeing some of your pictures of successful and not so successful sessions in the field.

At least you would be able to lift the S410 to club them! It's to risky of missing a season of shooting after a bad back having a HW100.

I am going to have a bit of shooting tonight from the window of a 4x4 so I will post the results later on, if there are any! along with my "noodle arm S410" Here we go! 14 in the bag the weather turned out well so never bothered with the 4x4. I also had my best ever shot which was witnessed by my friend he paced it out at 55 yards! I am well chuffed. it was a perfect kill too right in the back of the head exited through the eye, stone dead. so the noodle arms are doing well. -
Why not meet us at the CLA game fair!? the Chinese Government should sponsor your trip as they do many company's intending to branch out worldwide! Guess you will be the man at the gate with a dodgy old suitcase! I will keep an eye out for ya.

Best single shot Pro Hunter with large reservoir & full power has to be the Logun Gemini or Axsor, built to a very high standard in Sweden with proven technology & realiability, superb bolt & barrel, unbeatable accuracy to 50 yards in it's price range, can be found S/H £400 ish. foxon. I do miss my Logun Axsor, I see it still up there in the shop after I traded it in against my AA S410. I do agree though, the Axsor is a superior gun in build quality terms, a super smooth faultless bolt action. It was just a little too long for me, that's the only reason I traded it in. But I

Sometimes I think that the gene pool could do with a bit of chlorine now and then. :whistling: Or is it just me???? ATB Michael P.S. Just for you two: I was experimenting, what it would be like to own a HW100 I'd rather throw the rock at my chosen quarry than use the gun its attached to Well if you shoot a HW (Heavy weight) 100, you will be able to throw rocks so big you shouldn't miss. I just couldn't justify buying all the steroids needed to get strong enough to lift one all day, on top of the other expenses of shooting. :D -
Here we go folk's, I shot ten from this little lot the rest was my friend cheating with the .17 rim fire. I think the foxes will be happy with all the guts we left for them for a nice hearty meal. I am so happy with this AA S410 my confidence is booming with it, I just keep getting those real clean head shots, even at some testing ranges. When we arrived at our first field there were no rabbits to be seen, we were quite high up near a old tin mine ruin. But the clouds were really low and moving like hell. So we opted to go down into the valley about a mile away. We drove to the top fiel

BSA Superten Buddy bottle and Logun Axsor 8shot mags x2
fasthands replied to fasthands's topic in Gun's and Rifle's
Hi, it is untested as I havn't got a Superten to try it on but I shouldnt think there would be a leak it seems as though it hasnt been abused at all. I have listed it on Ebay so I could put a buy it now on for £30 if he wants. Cheers, Mark. -
I understand that you want to just get the hassle over with, but you really need to follow this through. As it seems obvious that you are in fact doing nothing wrong by owning your gun. And the sport has enough people not just the police with a wrong view of it. And by proving your point in a respectful but educated way to the said police officer and his superiors, will only in my opinion do the sport justice. We are expected to tow the legal line so should the police. The particular one in question. There are procedures to be followed when things are investigated, and by the sound of it the

For sale, BSA Superten MK1 buddy bottle rounded type. Two Logun Axsor 8 shot mag\'s I would like £25 for both Axsor mags, they are in very good condition and indexed perfectly! I am not sure what the buddy bottle is worth one went for £40 on ebay last month so suppose it would be fair to ask that for it. Or make a reasonable offer I will accept Pay Pal, cheque. Usual stuff applies when cleared etc, cash on collection. You can check my Ebay rating to give you an idea of my integrity, Ebay member name is, aquisitionsnlogistics Text me or call, 07935 597638, Mark.

Yep accidents do happen! I had both femurs crushed by a car in the workshop, doing what every mechanic in the world has done at some point, guide someone else onto a ramp. In fact most people have done this guiding lark onto a drive or parking spot. The H&S executive accepted it as a pure accident, I am still recovering over 2 years after. but it did lead me to pick up an Air rifle again and get shooting as motox is out of the question now! I think the car that hit me had wheels disease as the brakes didn't work! lol.

I haven't shot too many long range shots the best been 43yards with my AA S410k .177. But I do have a picture of my Gran, on a 350 Beamish on the wall of death at Scarborough, one handed!!

Air Arms S410 .177 DO IT!! I have got one and it is the best thing I have done. It is a superb rifle a real pleasure to shoot with, and my confidence is so much better now. The single best bit of advice I took from a friend who has been an air rifle enthusiast for over 45 years was, "go .177" and he was right. I will never go back to .22. The .177 is a better all rounder I think, I am dropping feathers and fur at every outing. the accuracy of the S410 will take some beating, I didn't like the feel of the HW100 I could have stretched to buying it if I really wanted to, but the S410 was like a

Tell him you know someone who got run over by a doddering old twat, but you wouldn't stop him driving if he wanted to, even if is scared you shitless everytime you passed his gate. This is why I am one day going to move so I have no bloody neighbors. Feel for you mate.

I always zero in at 30 yards bang on the cross hair, and I use the dots if I do decide to go for a long shot I raise the gun 1 1/2 dots and it seems to get them at 45 yards. But use a target board with a circle the size of a 2p piece and see how much you have to raise the gun to hit the circle. and remember it. In my opinion zeroing at 45 yards is too far really, keep it to 30 or 35 yards max. as it is usually easy to get within this range of rabbits, it's all in the fieldcraft not in long range shooting where you will get your kills. It's practice, practice and a little more practice. bu
