  1. How many litters did she have mate over the 13yrs you had her?
  2. I've got a 97 2.0TD & so far I'm happy with it. Especially powerwise compared to the older petrol model i used to drive. Mine has a "3 lift & Insa sahara tyres but haven't had the chance to take it off road much yet. I bought mine cheap but not realising it was rotten & cost me £400 for the necessary welding for the MOT, & that price was a favour. Seem like good motors but watch for the rot
  3. I'm surprised they grant people access to ferret such places artic. Do you work in that sector? Good photos by the way

    Hares

Very sporting Joe, more so with a size 10 though
  5. read a post recently asking about collars but not not SS. Don't know if he has something personal but his collars are better by far than [NO TEXT TALK] elses & a hell of a lot cheaper
  6. Do u lads know Waffa cos it seems like he's being an arsehole & might know u lads? U could've lied but u were honest, in these times with locators etc there ain't alot of dogs that even do 4 hrs. Ignore the pricks on here, thats a decent hole lads
  7. I believe alot of the die hard collie/beddie/deerhound x owners are the main culprits when it comes to slating the bull x as a working dog. They find it hard to admit that the bull x has turned into such a successful outcome/project. They are neither stupid nor aggressive, some maybe but it is the same in any breed. Admittedly a lot of the half x's can be slow for a lot of work but a good 3/4 bred is capable of matching anything on all aspects of lurcherwork, excepting the saluki x in regards to coursing on the big land. But preban these dogs were capable of taking the full spectrum of quarry.
  8. John I entirely agree with your comments that people are quick to judge and slate. However, here we have two young dogs unproven, one who won't retrieve (as yet) and one from a rescue who eats her catch and who once belonged to a now dead farmer. The qualifications for a decent litter don't look good. They might be in the future if the lad works at what he has and proves them. Thetruth, would you be willing to run on a couple and have more patience than you are currently showing. Dogs need to be nutured and shown what you require of them. To post ridiculous pictures of both of
  9. people are quick to judge & slate when they could do more good by offering guidance & experience. Give the lad a break, people learn from their own mistakes. Thetruth, give ur project a go but maybe don't sell the pups. see how the first litter goes, good look, yis john
  10. who said they're proven? unless u know the sellers ur going off what they say their dogs are capable of
  11. think u might be right riohog, might get the worst traits from the different breeds. sure plummer wrote something like that before
  12. best get some advice from a gundog enthusiast, preferably one who works lurchers aswell pal. be interesting cross for a moocher but alot of work when a collie or beddie x will suffice. yis john
  13. strange litter that'll be pal, could throw anything. Keep us posted with there progress, are u in ireland or britain?
