    well i have had 3 hancock dogs all being good you dont need the parents working for a good dog its what you put in unlike some of these on thl. I find it hard to believe your statement!!! I shouldn't though as Hancock has been breeding for a long time & there'll always be mugs with a pocket full of cash, seems there's still plenty of mugs now from what you say

    I had a 3/4 bred a good few years ago & she was deaf. Live to hand bitch on rabbits & hares, would just run alongside fox & deer without attempting a take. She was extremely intelligent & made a good ferreting dog as she seemed to feel the vibrations & her head would be going back & forth quickly watching for a bolt. Never seen owt like it. She was a handy dog but I wouldn't have another, a man couldn't possibly find the work for the number of dogs Hancock keeps,so it is safe to say that the chances are the parents would've done very little in comparison to say a lad br

    Mate had two half x pups which he ran on but ended up getting rid of. Never turned out as good as he'd hoped, fast dogs when upto speed but didn't have the acceleration when running in these lampshy areas. 1 turned into a decent deer dog but the other wouldn't look at them.

    To one dog, 21 rabbits. She was a 3/4 whippet, 1/4 collie. Not the same amount of rabbits there now & whats around are seemingly shy as soon as the fields are cut

    Topper's right, remember one thing though - the RSPCA are not police & have no authority as such, entering your premises etc. Even if you have to speak to the police tell the RSPCA to leave & insist on them leaving to the police.
