    Have done everything you have said with the 452 but could be short stroking the bolt. But the spent cases take some prising out. The 457 has not had much use so shouldn't be dirty but i will try new ammo and report back in a couple of weeks.

    Have had my 457 since july and put a Hawke vantage 4-16 x 44 scope on it. A lovely gun . I've also got a 452 which i have had 16 years. The only trouble i have had with both of them is that the spent cases have been getting stuck in the chambers. I put new claws a spring in the 452 bolt and cleaned the chamber but it still does it. I have been using winny subs but today bought some CCI, Eley and Norma subs so will be trying them all out in the next couple of weeks. A few people have been moaning about winny subs. Got a Parker Hale mod on mine.

    Sorry i meant i have been using winchesters overall for 16yrs but the new ones since they came out.

    I've been using them for 16yrs in my CZ American the only trouble i have had is the spent cases getting stuck in the breech/chamber. But i put that down to me not ever cleaning the barrel. I have just bought a CZ 457 so i will see how that goes with them.

    I also don't watch normal tv but i do spend a bit of time on Youtube. I take my Lurcher out go rabbit and clay shooting. I lead a very simple life and i'm happy.

    I dropped my wallet in the cafe with £300 + Driving license and credit cards etc. Before i got home the cafe owner had rang my other half to say he had picked it up. So i bought him a bottle of brandy and his wife a box of chocolates as a thank you. Yes there are still a few honest people in the world.

    Lost my Whippet 4 weeks ago, absolutely gutted and my Lurcher is 12 and seems a bit poorly. I dread the day he goes. I've had 20 dogs over the years and never known heartbreak like it when they pass away.
