(if have to then i will) but I was wondering if i am missing something here? so can you let me know what options are out there? also can someone breakdown how Ah break down into time the lamp can be on? Right i know a farmer who got out of turkeys and into chickens a few years ago and with the change meant out with the old and in with the new in terms of feeders and drinker. Anyway I was flicking through shooting times the other day and see the same things for sale for £30 for feeders and £11 for the drinkers so basically i was wondering if there is any keepers on here who may be interested in buying some. If some interests is shown i will list them as for sale but as for now it is testing the water if that is allowed. There are several hundred of each and the price is likely to be a fa

As some of you may well be aware i managed to snap the stock on my cz 452 american clean in 2 a couple of weeks back and someone on the here recommended them to me and then Sage got in touch with me and the stock came back yesterday and what a job they have done for me. Before: Now: You can see the 3 pins here 1 where the bolt goes in, one in the pistol grip and one in the comb: A big thanks to all the people at UKgunrepairs and especially Dennis who refinished the stock for me and its looking great now. Hi George - message from the stocker Dennis at UK Gun Repairs - your stock is being posted off to you on Monday, special delivery, he hopes you will be pleased with the repair to the stock. He has also put a London oil finish on the woodwork as a favour to you. Finally he asks me to tell you not to put gun oil on the stock when you clean the rifle, but if you need to just a polish with wax. Let me know when you receive the stock Peter Thanks peter I will let you know when it is received and arrange a method of payment that best suits you and will post pictures of the finished pr -

Reet well here is my 'tu pence' worth on the matter. After just turning 16 i got my first 12 bore but i was a fairly big 16 year old (5 foot 11) and about what i am now (6 foot 1 and nearly 18) and i know young kids who also use a 12 but as you are scottish and I understand 20's are popular up there i voted 20 bore as at 15 it will be a lighter gun but i should not hold you back. As has been mentioned speak to your keeper as if you are to be granted a sgc you will need another sgc holder to buy you your gun and carts and if your parents aren't holders then you may have to get him to do it. I have a pair of the beaters trousers and i believe these are the new and re-branded keepers trousers. So anyway to the point i have had them a year now and they and the most comfy trousers i own and wear them all the time they seem to have lasted okay so far and have been through the washing machine a few times they are good enough for me but in York we don't get so much rain as i assume you do. I would recommend them but if i had the money i would have been tempted to go swedteam or harkila for the gortex but i am not sure they would be worth twice the price George

My FEO said he had personally take them out to 100 yards with head shots and i would be fine to do the same George

Don't worry about these apparent down sides of the HMR too noisy not a problem i have shot 3 rabbits within 10 yards of each other before the others ran It may be expensive but you rarely miss as mine is point and shoot on rabbits heads from 30-150 yards so no worry about hold over. As for its not as good as the .22 in a 4x4 where is the logic there mine is a 16inch barrel with a sak on the end and is fine within the the cab of the pick up. And its biggest plus side is (for me anyway) you dont have to worry about the ricochet as much. It is a highly subjective thing and both have there

here are the pictures i have taken: It looks like it is quite fixable as it is a clean break i may try fixing it with some wood glue and clamps George -
Right i am an utter fool i decided to refinish the stock on my CZ 452 l/h in .17hmr today and whilst i was applying varnish remover it slid from my hands hit the concrete floor of the garage and split clean in two now i was wondering how much is it going to cost me to get it replaced? and how long will it take? and where is best to find one. Pics to follow. George
-
RIght i have got the go ahead from my dad and it is going to be up for sale in the next few days when we agree on a price will PM all those who have shown interest to let them know when it is coming up for sale. George

Unfortunatly the wood is some what bland and i had my hear set on a green synthetic stock i just love how they look but as a lefty they seem to be hard to come buy and the cost of a new stock could almost pay for a scope on my centerfire when (and if) i get it granted George
-
how can you tell it's been tuned just by a pic,it could just be somebody stuck a fancy stock on it,only by a close inspection of the internals would tell you if it had been 'tuned' Anything my untrained eye could do to help you out on this one? George

Thanks anyone else got any experience? i think i will give it a go and let you know hoe its gets on George
