  2. They were selling them for £185, i haggled like feck to get them cheaper, the man on the stall would have taken less, but there was this woman on the stall who must have been in charge and she wouldn't feckin budge, i ended up paying £180 and they gave me some Meindl wax as well, shop around to see where you can get the best price. 10. Weather has'nt been too good today down here in Wales so i thought i would test these Falkland trousers out, was out for about an hour and a half walking the dogs, trousers got soaked through by the showers, and by walking through rushes & brackon, as you can see they had a good soaking, i put on a old pair of thermals underneath to see if the were 100% waterproof as claimed, but as you can see below the water has penetrated them, they wern't feckin sodden wet, but the moisture had got through. Even though they were sodden through with rain and by walking

  14. I bought the Falkland trousers from Country Covers at the Welsh Gamefair, they are £99.76 on their webpage, but i had them for £79.99 for them at the Gamefair. Dont get me wrong, they are a tidy trouser, and i'm pleased with them, but i cant see them being 100% waterproof, i've worn them out a few times already in the wet and the rain has got through them, you have got the outer layer of the rip stop material, and then a Pro-line waterproof breathable liner underneath which is like a stretchy elasticated nylon material. I will test them out fully in the wet and get back to you with
  15. Ok Selwyn, sorry for the delay fella, as you know i purchased these at last years Midland Game Fair after having all the trouble with the Altberg boots, i have been wearing these boots every day now for about 9 months and they are still going strong. I like a high boot myself and they are really comfortable, have been out in them in the "Dark Depths of the Monsoon".... ....as you say, and have walked through sodden grass, brooks and streams on a regular basis and no water has penertrated them so far, they are a Quality boot. I do treat the leather with the Meindl cream, Kiw
  16. Yeh.... ....old Suffolk Bill.... ....whoever he is, funny as feck, when that guy was out walking his Doberman, and he let him go right up to the Wheaton threateningly "he wont hurt him" he sneered, followed by a shout of "leave it"...and then suddenly the B/Wheaton had him!...talk about a shaking, the Dobie never stood a chance, no squaring up, no growling, just a grab, and then the shake. Get him off, Get him off, Jack the lad was now more like Pansy Potter. SINDASOX
  17. Seen a woman in the craft tent at the Welsh Gamefair with a small pram, on closer inspection there was a fecking yorkie in the pram with pink ribbons on it, and the pram was specially for the mut. SINDASOX
  18. Anyone remember watching Champion the Wonder Horse on a Saturday morning in the very long hot summers, and if you were lucky enough to get some old pram wheels to make a go cart it was like christmas, Dutch arrows, and making rafts out out of scaffolding planks, just a few. SINDASOX
