I would prefer my dog not to jump on night anyway as perception of distance is quite different in the dark! I have seen some quite bad injuries while lamping and a lot of them whilst jumping! So it is really down to personal preference really how you use your dogs jumping ability. Regards Charles.

I posted a question about muckboots and got some good replies also read write ups on internet. I have just ordered the spey muckboots with realtree tops that is just my preference they come with plain tops also. For years i have boughtle chemeau zipped wellies but after my last pair i just dont think they are that well made any more! Regards Charles.

I have ran this cross for 5 years now and if you can put up with the stubborn streak that i have found in mine they are as loyal and useful as they come. Thats my opinion no doubt there will be other breeds people favour over this type i am speaking from my experience of this game intelligant little dog. Good luck with whatever choice you make.
