  1. Theres no harm in trying. We had a mouse problem last year and in one night my Staffiexcollie caught 20 of the buggers.
  2. Hes a rescue so ive no idea who his mum or dad was, his brother was slightly bigger and all black with longer fur. Please excuse his jumper Bigger than my Parsons at 14 weeks
  3. We dont know. Hes a rescue who was found dumped in Ireland covered in mange - some people are so nice. I will put a few pics up later (if you all excuse his jumper ). Im originally from the West mids but only moved here because of my other half, im near Maidstone now.
  4. Over walking a dog can cause muscle problems but its the joints that are more likely to be damaged, the rule of thumb is 5 mins for every month of age. But it depends on the exercise the dog is getting, grass walking is better than hard surfaces and whether its forced ie the dog is onlead or scared you will leave it behind and just follows you for the sake of it. Usually though its hereditary conditions that are made worse by the exercise and not often caused by it unless you really walk a pup to death. Its usually bigger breeds to, Labs, Gsds etc.
  5. Im not really a hunter, just a dog lady but in the last year ive managed to add a PJR and a Lurcher to my Collie based clan so i thought i would research their breed heritages. I have to say the best hunter out of the lot is my Staffiexcollie who is having a wicked time demolishing the local mouse and rat population.
