How did ya know it was a remington? Or did I pick ya up wrong. My view is he is entitled to shoot too if he has permission and all's legal:)

That .222 did some damage. More like he was hit with a .243 or something

The Smallest Fox I'll Ever Shoot
Kay 9 replied to JohnGalway's topic in Rimfire, Centrefire & Shotguns
Good readin John, thanks for that. I got one like that about a week ago, young small fox also and in the gut also so I know the feelin too well. Thing is I followed the lad i shot and he was nearly in half as i followed with the light for about 30 yds. He even tried to hop a high wall and a built in fence but didnt make it and instead tumbled down into a fur and nestled there for his last moments. Not a nice feelin when ya wonder about what they went through. Way I look at it though, he was in the close vicinity of the ewes so I had to do the best I could on my behalf but didnt expect him to g -
I have an old shotgun at home here and am in the hunt for a nice fitting semi auto maybe. Question is, as above I have an old shotgun Make "Erbi" and I'm curious what kind of money they are worth?? As I said, it's about 30/35 years old. My dad don't use it much and if i got a bit for it to put towards something new I might just let it go even though it's only an Erbi it has built up a bit of centimental value over the years. Other question is the Baikal semi auto, I have heard good reports in reviews online and would like to know if anyone here has/had one and their experienced version woul

Hi: You may have a non-scope related problem. I can't tell without knowing a bit more about your setup. Firstly what rifle, how old, what ammo, new or 'very' used? The 22.250 is a hot round and can burn out a barrel in 2,000 rounds, and a typical 'shot out' example may well group up nicely with 2>4 shots, then go right off the paper when it gets hot, does this sound familiar? Anyway as a general comment, Nikko Stirling scopes are only OK, not rubbish but not that good for a centrefire rifle either. Sorry to run this past you but you need to spend at least £500 on a centrefire scope,

Kay 9 replied to langouroux's topic in Rimfire, Centrefire & Shotguns
5 foxes in a night. Best to date. Not a bunny basher myself. Maybe someday I'll take it up.
