Yes Chalkwarren, was just replying to what you said,i know very well what you are saying i can't say i'd fully take your line but i take your point. i don't mind in the least people disagreeing with me i just don't think hunting people should be so easily split. there seems to be a real tendency with people to say thats worse than what i do.Fishing is worse than hunting etc. Anti's were pretty new in Ireland at the time of the video and the people in it over reacted to them to try and get the deer away as quickly as they could, and f****d up,no doubt, but don't throw the baby out with the bat

Wilf, i have never done that type of hunting! i just wouldn't jump on anyone because of a video that anti's have posted.I know a few people that have but it's not for me,but then neither is shooting foxes i'd prefer to dig them, but i happily shoot rabbits. do any of you guys think there was ever one incident you were involved in that you wouldn't like on video? Nothing is killing hunting in Ireland,it's flying, there are packs in county Cork alone, some are messers most are amateurs i'm just slower to judge than you. if you choose to pursue a critter,.then for mercy's sake,..kill it,.an

and what are your collective opinions on Irish park coursing? hares are netted in the wild, held captive and then coursed over a set course in front of a large crowd. and again not killed?????????? can't wait to hear you all Bryan

i know that silver birch the winner of todays grand national has been hunting with that pack all year. you have no sport because of people like yourself who are against hunting.people who have no tolerance and are quick to judge things they know little about. Ireland is a very different place. normally the stag is left off an hour to 45 minutes before the hounds, they almost alwasy head back to the deer park where they are kept. once the stag is at bay the hounds are held back, the stag is then taken back to the deer park and examined by State vets. that video has been widely seen in Irelan

doxhope, get onto an anti site they are looking for your support.this is a hunting site you've seen one video, your an expert.tell us about carted deer hunting in Ireland what do you know about it?????????? Bryan

Hey Frank, you can listen online and i think on some of the digital TV supplies, the hound groups seem to have a few good "texting trees" operating, they've done well now on any TV and Radio stuff, the NARGC and similar shooting groups and clubs need too do the same basically you have a group in your mobile under hunting and any stuff like this info. gets sent to the group and they send it on again Bryan

Frank, i know what your saying,it's not my cup of tea,but in a push i'd support it to the hilt. there is going to be a hunting debate on cork's 96 fm this monday from 9-12.again there'll be loads of hunting people shooting at each other. the debate there has been going for 2 days, but the text in vote is 14,000 for hunting 147 against. hunters are getting well organised at these things now. text"vote no" to 0857379696 between 9-12 monday if you get a chance or email neil@96fm.ie ONLY VOTE FROM IRISH NUMBERS,it's a local radio show and they are already crying about the vote being rigg

Guys maybe you all could start a campaign to get Deer hunting banned in Ireland?????????? causes thats what you are all saying yes? always the same,"i shoot, but i don't agree with that" "oh i catch a few rabbits with the dog,but i don't agree with blasting phesants" "badger diggers should be shot"etc. etc. etc. Thats one video of carted deer hunting, the deer hounds had gotten ahead of the whips and they had anti's videoing it.just did there best to get the hounds back,if you'd all look at the timer on the video it only lasts a few seconds. there are 2 packs hunting twice a week for

there are 2 hares in Ireland, the Irish which is from the same base as the Blue or mountain hare but has evolved over thousands of years to become much larger and very rarely changing colour(even then it's only a few spots) there are also a smaller number of brown hares in Ireland(they have black on the top of their tales while the "Irish" hares are brown on the top side of the tail.Think they are mostly in the north east! in beagling english packs can kill hares in england under the hour if they run without a check, the same packs have taken around 3 hours when hunting in Ireland if they do c

what f*cking badger baiting? he says Badger baiting is a betting game in which captive badgers are loaded into barrels, pipes or artificial earths so that humans can bet on dogs that are timed as they draw them out. A baited badger may face several dogs over an extended period of time and there is no larger point to it than to win sums of money or bragging rights, while considerable stress (and sometimes injury) is inflicted on the badger and the dog. this is total bullsh*t,an absolute urban myth, has anyone ever even heard of this outside of a news paper article??????????where they
