  1. pinch his lower eye lid so you can pull it out and see if there is anything stuck deep down inside, flush it out with plenty of water gently. Then get a cod liver oil capsule ,bite it, and squeeze half it into each eye, getting well in repeat twice daily till it's right Bryan

  4. Selwyn, Ortovox do an off the shelf ,complete kit for £225 kit ,but you can get a better box for a few pound more http://www.jagdhunde.de/shop/index.php?cPa...cec4b50ba25201c thats a fair saving or an extra collar or 2 for the same price as a B+F. the ortovox collar is simple to attach to a nylon collar just thread it through a loop on the back or else it's easy to stick to any collar with cable ties. Compared to the B+F in the Field. range ortovox 45 yards, B+F 70 yards both waterproof ortovox- mechanical switch, B+F -magnetic battery life similar size -ortovox i
  5. Mammothgear.com have run out of the collars and they reckon Ortovox have stopped making them Hey Leveller, thats not quite true, whats happening is that the US importers aren't getting anymore in because there were alot of skiiers in the states complaining that dogs would be found before people on the slopes! The Ortovox D1,transmitter is about half the size of the B+F one, but only has a range of about 50 metres, but is more sensitive to pinpoint. they cost about 100 euro so there is not much to choose between them on cost.Ortovox have been making them for a long time for the europea
  6. nice tits ................ i mean, there might be all the software in the world in the B+F but it makes no difference to the numbers that come up on the screen, side by side, with a dog underground every Pieps box will show the same numbers. Bryan
  7. The beaver was hunted to extinction in this country in the 16th century for its fur. ever notice the way that line is used to explain the extinction of any animal, but then animals rights/anti's say hunting has no effect on animals numbers! Bryan

  16. great link John, that guy conlon was outrageous,"it's only a matter of time before one is used in a school" Des Crofton is a great spokesman, the whole program shows that despite co-operation from shooters these guys can edit anything to suit their own needs. you could imagine what they'd do with a hunting scene
  17. let them all go to Belfast when i packed up and when i asked for pups back to start up again was told there wasnt any, some lads have short memorys!!!!! that is shocking,if your good enough to give guys good dogs for free the least they could do is send pups back. Bryan

  19. but never knew they were big enough for a beddy to go to ground well the picture was taken in July,no one in the picture has a digging bar or shovel, but they do have whips with lashes on.might have been that they were hunting on top with a "pack of terriers" like Lucas and came across badgers lying out in the summer sun, rather than actually having dug them with the Bedlingtons??? Bryan
