  1. Just got a '03 mazda, it's 100% inside but cover in marks and dents on the bottom of all the doors, front wings and front bumper. Is there any paint that'd go on thick enough to cover stuff up to mid door height. I was thinking of some kind of rubberised or textured paint, that'd be easily cleaned etc If anyone has experience or ideas i'd be happy to hear them Bryan
  2. What a retard, he shouldn't bother with working dogs. I took 4 litters out of a top class working undershot bitch and she never produced an undershot pup but great workers. Her pups were often bred tightly again and never produced an undershot pup, nor their pups. So 3 generation on without and undershot pup but many good workers? and half the idiots on here would have returned her for "imperfection"? FFS I'd be as concerned if she had one ear sticking up in the air. Bryan.
  3. are you talking about Booth "bred" dogs?
  4. plenty in here http://www.davidryanimages.com/gallery2/main.php?g2_itemId=2918
  5. The one good thing from all of this Neil, is that no one will touch hunting with a barge pole after this. Seems like all this will go through, but Fine Gael will reverse any bill he puts through. Was at a RISE night last week and they said all Fine Fail TD's will support it no matter what they feel about the issue! Also shown what a petty b*stard he is, " the hunters thought they'd beaten the minister when the courts decided in their favour, well now the minister is having his way" Can't wait to meet Fine Fail or greens on the doorstep. Every party in Ireland is now supporting hunting, bar
  6. I think there'll be a bit of creative thinking by hunters up there to get around this, the greens in the republic are also making big pushes at the moment, they are pushing through a ban on stag hunting with hounds tomorrow and also bringing in a bill that anyone with more than 4 bitches will be open to inspections and mandatory chipping of all dogs. B
  7. Northern Ireland bans hare coursing, and fox hunting could be next Thursday, 24 June 2010 The Assembly has voted to ban hare coursing in Northern Ireland. A motion to outlaw the use of greyhounds to chase and kill Irish hares was passed by 23 to 18 this week and has been incorporated into the Wildlife and Natural Environment (NI) Bill. It is expected to come into force after the summer. It follows a series of temporary bans by successive Environment Ministers on taking hares. Assembly Members will also be considering a Private Members Bill introduced by the Green Party aimed a
  8. Anyone in Munster that can make this should try and get there, RISE! Rural Ireland Says Enough! Campaign are expected to take part in a demo in Cashel, County Tipperary on Saturday, 22nd May, to coincide with a Fianna Fáil regional conference taking place in the town. The demo will assemble at the Town Hall in the Main Street, from 10 a.m onwards, and will move off at 11 a.m. to the Brú Ború Centre where the Fianna Fáil conference is taking place. There will be a short public meeting outside the Centre and the demo will end at 1 p.m.
  9. I can't think of any gear that's comparable in quality? Handmade by a perfectionist. But complete crazy B*stard
  10. His wife better watch out when he looks up porn on the net. He'll be unhappy with more than his dogs!
  11. I thought the ones still around are just sealyham type, rather than a strict breed
  12. Is that the ortovox s1 based box ? , how will it compare with pieps ,barrybox ect . yeah it'll be based on this http://en.ortovox.com/transceiver/s1.html main difference is it'll be calibrated to the ortovox collar down to a 0.05 reading sensitivity and will have an on screen display showing the direction and distance the dog is moving at. Bryan
  13. I'll have D1's next week have D3's at the moment.
  14. D1 is nice and simple, designed for digging with since 1989. Takes a bit of practice to get used to. D3 is a middle of the road box that you can use to track any 457KHz transmitter. In use it's best to use the side switch to turn it on and off . Bryan collar in any colour once it's blue!
  15. Sorry guys, I get the barryvox's in from the states and with the strenght of the dollar and customs it just isn't worth it anymore. Barryvox aren't great for me to deal with on warraties either. and of course ortovox will have there new box out by the end of the summer, so i'm waiting for that to some on line. Bryan
  16. The ortovox collar is still narrower against the dogs neck than the new B+F? and you don't like the way you have to turn the on and off switch on the ortovox, on and off??? are you kidding? The ortovox collar still gives a tighter pin point area than the new B+F Bryan
  17. came back the same, the waiting list was too long........ send Pm's and i'll reply asap Bryan
  18. I haven't used or even held a freeride BUT, the old deben grey box had just the one antaenna and was very accurate. The 3 antenna are needed to give a digital reading not accuracy. Bryan
  19. when you turn it on (into the send mode) hold the left button in, that'll take you into the set up menu, then use the the left button to go up and down and the right button to select.
  20. if your getting a wide area withe the same number, turn the locator 90 degrees to the left or right and try again, this will often make it more sensitive to the strongest signal. the ortovox collar is better than the b+f for pinpointing as it's more sensitive, but with that the numbers are more jumpy to any movement at all Bryan
  21. I'd imagine B+F have some contract with them to stop that happening? Bryan
  22. The new b+f collar is made by Barryvox for b+f so it should be 100% with the Barryvox pulse. B
  23. thats strong talk maybe if ortovox made there collar purposely for digging... casing and appropriate collar id buy them? i dont like nylon or velcro. and prefer to pay that few quid more for a collar thats purpose made for digging and have that extra 20 to 30 metres range for my ££.the price difference pales. ive never come across the collars coming off yet but hope it gets looked at. The Ortovox transmitter was always designed for digging, even if it was 20 years ago, The Germans are happy enough with the casing and transmitter to give a 5 year warranty? b+f still only give 1 ye
