  1. Breed from her sisters, 1/2 sisters, mother or aunts?
  2. Mammut Barryvox make the b+f collar, so the barryvox box suits the b+f collar best and for me it's the best match for ortovox transmitters too.
  3. Works fine but it's an older (20 year+) analogue system . Okay if your on a very tight budget, but for day in day out digging you should look at another box really
  4. What are the numbers and letters?
  5. Surely Loyalists would agree with people coming from abroad and taking over an area?
  6. He did 6 hours today and you think he'll do better on well educated game tomorrow? If he does okay tomorrow will you try him a third time the day after? Just to be sure like. How many days was he with you before you dropped him in for 6 hours? Save yourself and the dog the dig tomorrow, bring him back and let the poor dog rest up for a few days with the guy selling working dogs mid season. He might have a shot at impressing someone then. It's a tough life for a dog being sold around thats for sure. No wonder they had to rob 25 terriers out of Cork in the last few weeks
  7. Gut your catch and put it in a bag marked "Drugs and Cash"
  8. Nope, I said I would meet any of the 3 brothers and rumble for cash, knock out or tap out rules with a ref we could all agree on( I'd have staked a 1,000 euro but if they lost, they were to give it their side to the wife and kids of a guy that killed himself). That's when they decided I was a dick? Changed their usernames and deleted their accounts and I showed a few people the PM's that went back and forth at the time, so talk away kid. as I said "Bryan, on 14 October 2011 - 11:07 PM, I'm sure some retards will reply "nothing will stop me" , Do you work in a "Special School"

  10. I hunt with the pack that had 10 hounds robbed. this is the second time we've been robbed in 3 years. Despite a CCTV camera, roofed over kennels and metal fencing that was cut through. The Hounds and their breeding is the lifes work of 2 of the members with hounds bred down from hounds my dad would have hunted with in the 50's. and from hounds before that again, there are generations of work gone into these hounds. we've 16 hounds left in the "pack" When bitches come into season around Christmas we'll hardly be able to hunt. They are from a Hare hunting pack, we draw open green fields and w
  11. Why are you saying the dose is wrong?
  12. The club could allow Cocaine at the Christmas party, but it wouldn't make it legal . There never was a history of coursing with lurchers in Ireland, so it was never provided for or looked for under the law. A lot of guys assume or assumed because it was allowed under british law until the ban, that it was okay in Ireland because there's no ban. Organised coursing was always a huge sport in Ireland, with very large clubs in every parish throughout the last century. The rules of law were drawn up with the approval of the coursing clubs to stop any members from getting in a few sneaky course
  13. Bad decision, but the kicking was much worse, you can't expect to be world champions and kick like shit. Would have loved to see Wales in the final.
  14. your full of shit Want to put money on me being wrong???

  16. If he hasn't got the hand eye co-ordination to scruff a fox maybe he should pack in surgery?
  17. Maybe Neil would have broke through on the collar? Not 4 feet from the fox in a hole 2 feet deep??? Just a thought. if I'd dug that i'd be having to see who messed up, me or the dog especially after giving it 20 minutes to settle in a small place.
  18. Who said that? I can't find the post, Thanks. Bryan neil cooney, on 05 October 2011 - 04:37 PM, said: Like I said before if you can't take a fox out of a dig whilst he's looking straight at you (terrier took away) then you shouldn't even be out trying to work a terrier. Anyone can put a collar on a terrier. A 5 year old child could operate a locator. Most able men can use a shovel to some degree. It's knowing what to do at the end that takes a terrierman. If some one want's to work a strong dog at the end because he thinks that's a strongdogs job and it will better the breed t

  20. You are getting confused between Trial dogs and drawing dogs. Geronimo made noise on occasion , but was runner up, Dog of the Year in '71,'72.'73 and dog of the year in '74. You must keep some dogs if he wouldn't meet your standard for a drawing dog? Total silence was a way of separating great dogs on any given day in just 6 minutes, a time quick enough to run through every dog in the competition. But not a real test of a dog, gameness or it's real ability as a Drawing Dog in the countryside where it mattered. Don't let rules drawn up by the kennel club dictate to you or anyone what a
  21. But isn't that exactly what a perfect outcross is? Takes nothing from the original quality of a line , but keeps it going.
  22. There's only one Question to ask "Will the pups be Chocolate ?"
  23. I've never seen a pedigree for a Greyhound that was line bred. Could you post a link from www.greyhound-data.com of just one line bred greyhound?????? Thanks in advance. LINEBREEDING This method is used consistently by breeders. It involves the mating of dogs that are related past the third generation. Usually grandfather to granddaughter or niece to uncle. This method is used by breeders to allow them to amplify a certain trait without the risks of inbreeding. just dug one up - Droopys Sandy But they are all more than 3 generations away from each other in Sandy's pedigree?
  24. Breeds are never destroyed by the kennel club. The K.C. and showmen just run away with a few dogs and make their own line of shite. Workers just keep working dogs that remain unchanged. The kennel club might keep the name of the breed, but workers remain.
