    Vit n160 I use a hornady 87grn hpbt and 46 grns powder cci primers and lapua brass

    I use the Ase Ultra jet-z compact on my .243 and it's the dogs bollocks mate. the only draw back "apart from cost" is adds to over all length. Same as you mate I would recomend them 100 %

    WEight is about the same. Where the JetZ does win is for lamping, as it's smaller overall and so there's less splash on it from the lamp, which is better. exactly this was one of the reasons I chose ase over any other as for for sound report differance thats a matter of opinion I would still rate them over any other.

    This recipe works wonders in my 243 I use 46grns of n160 with the 87 grn hornady' I have not missed a fox this year from -300yds devastating expansion too!

    Ase ultra jet is the best by far my mate has one on his t3 tacktical in 223 and I have one on a 243 the best £275 I have every spent !

    Shot a fox in daylight last year trotting no further away than 80yds stopped him with the .243 he had a baby rabbit in his mouth!

    I have a 452 never had a problem with it, I have shot hundreds of bunnies over the years and it has proven to be a great work horse and value for money so I would recommend one

    Cheers he was going to do it but he doesn't really give it a quick turn around. I spoke to him before christmas and he said they were busy with the move ect until end of Jan. If the guy in bromsgrove can turn it around in a day I would rather go there. Thanks again though for your interest.

    I don't quite understand this one, Sound Moderators are sweeping the country and demand is strong...many rifle barrels need shortening or the balance screws up, hence why Tikka, etc are now all arriving in the country with SHORTER Threaded barrels, far from devaluing the gun I would suggest it will enhance the price! A valid point the Tikka's are coming in with 20" barrels so I assume cutting down by this amount should be ok are the twist rates the same though in the newer shorter barrells?

    m considering cutting the lengh of my barrel down on my tikka t3 .243 (by a gunsmith not me) my question is how much could you safley remove before effecting accuracy I understand my rifle has a barrel lenght of 22 " 7/16 with a 1 in ten twist rate. The reason is so I may in the future purchase an ase sound mod and these mod's although very good extend the barrel a little too much for my own likeing. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    I use nothing but illuminated reticle at night or in low light conditions. The scope I use is a nightforce 3.5x15x56 the reticle is so thin that at night it is the quickest and easiest way for target accquision. On a chunky style recticle I supposed some would not need to illuminate, But it is a matter of personal choice and if it works for you.

    I wouldn't even go with your own solicitor he would say don't go without him cos he is going to charge you £'s. When you get to the police station and they read you your rites ask for the duty solicitor you get it for free. They cannot do f all to you anyway cos your inocent so be auckward back and let the system pay for your brief.

    Just wanted to introduce myself, My names TERRY I'm 35 and been shooting for around 11yrs. I have FAC and SGC my main enjoyment is foxing. I own a tikka t3 .243 a 22 cz and shotgun these seem to do me well with what I need to do. I am also a member of pigeon watch forum for 3yrs aka William, but looking through this site I thought I would give it a bash.
