It’s still the same price from the P.O. , don’t know about online , the post office is only round the corner so I just get it from there . Mine is £82 for the salmon and seatrout one but it covers me for 3 rods coarse fishing aswell

You can still get them from the post office , you pay there and they give you a receipt which you keep and is valid till the actual license comes in the post

The first boilies I used back in the day were richworth and if memory serves they were a dark coloured plum flavour one I think , never tried the their Tuttis though . I didn’t know they were still going , I’ve not seen them in the shops for a while now . Another one I used was their esterberry but just seemed to get tench , eels and the dreaded bream on it . If you order 3kg of the spotted fin stuff the price drops to 29.99 and the more you order the cheaper it gets . I’ll order a few key for my next trip and see how it does . I know what you mean , I’ve tried various different companies like sticky , dynamite ,sonubaits and impulse over the years but I always end up back on mainline cell , aciv8 and hybrid . Just got a feeling about spotted fin though for some reason so I’m going to give it a try even though I’ll have to pay full price for it and see how it goes .

Thanks for the reply , I was talking to a bloke in the shop yesterday who said pretty much the same thing about catalyst so it sounds like it could be worth a go . The smokey jack their new bait on one of Frank Warwick’s old recipes I think . He said it smells like bacon frazzles and I think he said it’s got tuna in it aswell , I’d bet it will be a good barbel bait too . I’ll order a few kg of each and try it one on each rod to see which one I prefer.

I’m thinking of trying something different from my usual cell and activ8 this year , no reason really , just fancy a change and spotted fin have caught my eye . Has anyone tried catalyst or the newer smokey jack and if you have do you rate them .

My mate fishes a little pond at the side of the river hyndburn in Clayton and caught a carp last Sunday with most of its tail missing. He’s been saying for a while now that it’s been getting done with otters. There’s a few barbel been found on one of the stretches on the ribble I fish in the last week aswell . I see them regular on the ribble around the balderstone - elston- ribchester areas and also on the Calder around simonstone , even had one swim by me literally 2 foot away while I was stood in the river fishing , didn’t seem to care I was there at all .

Can’t see the point in them , it’s not like your not going to watch tv or put the kettle on or sit in the dark just because you can see what’s being used and it’s not going to stop the people who leave all the lights on from doing it . The only benefit I can see is for the power companies themselves saving money by making meter readers redundant

If your looking at Cheshire then Lymm anglers , Bay Malton , Warrington anglers or Northwich anglers might be worth a look . There’s always Prince Albert or wheelock anglers aswell but they have waiting lists .

Thats the swim if you do have a go , you can’t miss it . I forgot to switch the camera on so it’s the only one we got on camera . The lure is a zman slim swim in pearl pattern with a 1/8th tt jig head on a 0.9-7 gram rod . The lad to my right is using the same end gear but a 3-12 gram rod and the lad on the left was using a 5-20 gram rod with the same lure . We are talking to a local on the vid who told us he’d only ever seen 1 zander caught on that stretch . We had 4 while we were talking to him . We met him again later on and gave him a few lures when he was looking at my lures and he opened

I was tempted but I just don’t fancy the long drive . I fished that stretch last year , we had plenty of perch , some zander and saw a few chub but interestingly none of us even had a follow off a pike . If you look on google maps at the post code and follow the coventry canal right , there’s an inflow on the opposite bank further up and nearly all the zander we had came from that swim . The perch came from all over the Oxford and coventry canals

Was reading last night that ggg vs canelo is looking more and more likely to get cancelled because of 2 failed tests and that ggg wants Saunders if the fight falls through . Also saw some vids saying that the cyclist contador used the same excuse but was banned for having to much clenbuterol in his system at 50 picograms and one of canelos tests had something like 600-800 picograms and that there’s no way a reading that high came from tainted meat .

You couldn’t be more wrong about my brother, if you ever met him you’d soon realise he really is a straighthead . I lived that life years ago and spent alot of my 20’s in frankland because of what I used to get up to so I know how things work . I do think you are right about them being thick though , no masks or gloves and putting themselves around cctv says to me that they are amateur chancers who got the wrong address . Happened to my brother on Monday night and he’s the straightest man around , doesn’t even smoke fags never mind do drugs . He’s a proper family man , works 2 jobs and runs a kids football team and never been in trouble in his life . He was sat watching tv and next minute there’s 2 lads with knives in his face saying they were looking for ching and said they were taking over the town so they either got the wrong house or they are as I suspect are just muppets .
